Bachelorette Kaitlyn - NO SPOILERS

Good heavens, PP. It's his job. He discusses a lot of shows. The only one I pay attention to is Bachelor franchise.

But it's his job. He earns a salary this way.

I read it because he has a lot of interesting, "behind the scenes" types of things. Like, "Why did Kaitlyn allow Nick to talk so long? That isn't nice to Nick." I know the answer to that.

I also know why they stayed in Ireland so long and the final rose ceremony was held at the Mansion not an exotic location.

He stalks all the contestants and begs them to break their contracts, telling them that they're un-enforceable. And talk about a conflict of interest - Reality Steve is in no position to give legal advice to these people.

I just think he's mentally off to be this obsessed with spoiling a show like the Bachelor, and hiring legal counsel to defend his "rights" to continue stalking people like this. Has he no life? Nothing else to write about? He couldn't get a job at a normal gossip magazine?

For those of you who keep quoting him and reading his blog, why? I felt really gross just visiting the site even once.

I don't know your source on that, but please cite it. Actually, Steve refers to the contracts are very hard and not to be messed with.

RS doesn't get intel from the contestants as they are under contract and he has already been sued and settled by agreeing not to interfere with their contracts. Don't you think there are a lot of people around the contestants (people who aren't under contract to ABC) who have bits of info. to share?

He spoiled Andi's season b/c a random person whom he knew from high school or dated a long time ago happened to be sitting behind Nick on his flight home where he was talking on his phone telling his mother/sister that he got the boot.

His info on the current season of Bach. in Paradise is based in part on a random tourist seeing a list of contestants lying around at a hotel in Mexico! They sent RS the pic of the list. Stupid ABC producer left it sitting on a table out in a public space!

In this season of Bach., Kaitlyn, herself spoiled the show by snapchatting a pic of herself in bed with Shawn! RS had it wrong and then was in the process of getting it right when Kaitlyn confirmed his correction.

If RS was interfering with the contestants' contractual obligation, ABC would be suing him again, but they aren't b/c they have no basis for suing him.

I do think he is too judgmental on the contestants -- but that's his commentary and he can put that out there. I just think it's unfair and inaccurate to accuse him of stalking or badgering people for info or suggesting that he is interfering with contractual obligations.

If you look up the law suit that the franchise filed against him, they provide a copy of the emails RS sends to the contestants. When one - name was redacted - contestant said he didn't want to share information because of the clauses in the contract he signed, RS replied that no one has ever been successfully sued for divulging information to him, so not to worry. The contestant obviously shared that exchange with the franchise.
