Who cares if Joel doesn't get over it. He spent $500 taking Pete out on a date. She needs to move on with her life, he's left her and the kids miserable long enough. Also, he seems like he'd be a good lay. |
oH man, julia I did not see that coming! |
This was a great episode. I'm happy for Julia, she gave Joel time and he shot her down repeatedly. She needed to do something for herself which is what this episode is about. |
Why is Kristina all like "awww Ed? thats great"...she should be like hey maybe stay AWAY from the guy who broke up your marriage. Didn't see the last scene coming though. Totally hate how easy things like running for mayor, opening a music recording studio, and now opening a school seem to be for the Braverman clan. |
yeah, that was a bit out of the blue, but if I was going to pick a guy for her to have a hot night with, he's the one. I'd definitely screw that guy. |
Ditto. Hot teacher >>>Ed!!! |
+1,000. Love the family, though. I choose to tell myself that what the show doesn't show is all the seriously hard work that those two put into everything. or maybe not. Ed is creepy, totally weirds me out. We watched it last night on DVR and DH was like "after last week's show it makes no sense that Joel would show up on the doorstep smiling next week." And am I the only one that loves the house that the parents found!? |
The house is gorgeous but why are they selling? I thought it was too much upkeep and they were going to live in a trendy, low maintenance condo. Joel annoys me. He made Julia's life miserable, told her there was no hope and once she finally moves on he decides its all good and he's decided to come back?? I don't think so. |
I still don't get why Joel left Julia. That storyline just makes no sense. It doesn't seem like he's all that interested in anyone else and the problems in their marriage were certainly not that big.
Since he has left though, good on her for moving on with her life. |
The new house is lovely, but smaller, no barn, less land, etc. I'm sure it will be less upkeep. They still have people coming to stay with them frequently, I'm sure Camille realized that a tiny condo wasn't actually going to work. The important thing to her was that Zeke clearly heard what she needed and found a place that worked for both of them. I don't think Joel was saying it was over-though that's how Julia took it. I think he was saying he wasn't ready to make a decision, and if she kept pushing for one, it was going to be a no. Now, she shouldn't have to live in limbo forever, but I think his take on that conversation was very different than hers. |
Just watched the episode (I am always a tad behind).
The new house for Z and C. I like their other house better. To me, why sell the house if you plan to move to another house? I thought the whole idea was a condo, no upkeep or anything to free them up to be able to travel and what not. I think that Joel screwed the pooch and good on Julia for finding someone to take her mind off him, if only for a little while. I am glad she hooked up with the teacher and not Ed. Ed has become Julia's baggage. I am glad that the Luncheonette is gaining momentum and I am enjoying the story line of Sara and Hank. |
I could not stand Ed. |
I would be too, except I absolutely cannot stand Ray Romano's voice. He's giving a great performance as Hank, but his voice grates on me. |
I can't stand Sara and Hank. I feel like they lost all chemistry this season and them getting back together would just be weird. |
Anyone else think they are setting it up for Crosby to buy Zeke and Millie's house? Not sure how that would work financially, but it seems like that's where they're headed. And if they get rid of the house, are they going to just get rid of that set?? |
