Chantilly mom ships teen daughter to Siberia. Two years later, she’s still there. Really.

I think it's funny, what she got.
Is it overkill? Yes. But she won't fuck with her mom and stepdad again.
And stealing 1000$ from your mom, it's bloody disgusting.

It's not a freaking game. This is a real child we are talking about.

I agree with the mom and step dad who sent her overseas. She was an entitled spoiled trouble maker who broke the law.

They should have contacted police and reported her stealing and drug use and had her locked up.

No, wait that would have wasted tax payer dollars.

Sending her to Siberia was the perfect solution.

Yes! Putting her in jail would have wasted tax payer dollars.

Or she might have ended up in our jouvenile deliquent system, also wasting tax payer money.

With her troublesome history it's going to be very hard for her to get a sponser to bring her back.

Heck it's going to be hard for her to get approval from the U.S Govt to be allowed back.

About time some parents show tough love and quit letting the kids rule the roost. I applaud them.

So people here think that permanent exile to a foreign/hostile country is an appropriate punishment for being a difficult/bratty/delinquent teenager? You do realize that she will never be able to come back to the US? There really is no lesson for her to learn here, no rehabilitation. It's a life sentence.

I was just thinking this. If she were smart she would start showing remorse for her mistakes instead of blaming others for her bad behavior. This might gain her at least an ounce of sympathy.

I'm still believe there is only one poster replying to her/himself with vile hatred for this child. I'm not even responding any more.

This, plus lying to you for over a decade. What a sad story.

She is almost an adult now. Once she becomes an adult in a few months she can apply to become a US citizen. I highly doubt that they will look favorably upon her however due to her past behaviors.

You can take her in and support her through college and give her the family that you feel she deserves but didn't get.
