BINGO!

Loyalties? Really? Who do you think he's loyal to, if not the US?

You cannot be loyal to a country that you feel needs to be fundamentally changed. That means you don't respect the Constitution, the laws of the land.

You mean like Mark Levin?

Except Mr. Levin wants to legally amend the constitution, not dismantle it. He's trying to keep the Obamas of this world from destroying the country.

Your position is that Obama is a traitor? Is that your final answer?

If that is how you personally define the word traitor, then yep.

How does the Govt legally define traitor, that's the real question. Obama has said himself he wants to fundamentally transform America: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrefKCaV8m4

Can't do that and be loyal at the same time.

Gee I made the mistake of actually listening to the clip you sent.

The "fundamental change" he referred to was:
1. Change policies that put greed an irresponsibility of Wall Street over hard work and sacrifice of those on Main Street
2. Invest in middle class grow jobs
3. Concern for people who can't pay medical bills, afford college, or pay for retirement

You CAN make that kind of change without being disloyal to America.

You cannot be loyal to a country that you feel needs to be fundamentally changed. That means you don't respect the Constitution, the laws of the land.

Carl Schurz, a naturalized American, who was a general and a Republican Senator, among other positions, is perjhaps best known for the quote "My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right." Loving your country should not blind you to her faults. Perhaps even fundamental faults. Unfortunately, Obama has done little to change some of the faults he himself campaigned against.

By circumventing the Constitution? I don't think so.

To you, Obamacare circumvents the constitution, even if the Supreme Court rules otherwise.

What does any of this have to do with the fact that we have still not had any birthers weighing in on Ted Cruz! They should all be posting that he is ineligible to run for President. Who cares about this meaningless little bitchfest between Jeff and some right wing asshole. I want to hear from Tea Partying birthers about Ted "Anchor Baby" Cruz! Where are you!

Exactly. Where are they? They should be infuriated.

Infuriated that he hadn't disclosed his dual citizenship earlier.

Infuriated that he only turned over the short form birth certificate.

Which s clearly less revealing than Obamas short form:

But most of all,

Infuriated that he's considering a run when under their interpretation of the law, he is ineligible!

I am a conservative NON birther. I always thought that you had to be born on US soil and that McCain was okay because of the Canal Zone.

His father fought for Castro and he spent four years being indoctrinated into the ways of socialist, PC Canada. He might secretly speak French! And WHY did his father wait until 2005 to become a US citizen???? 48 years is a LNG time to make up your mind about joining freedom-loving America when your Plan B is Castroland. Where were his loyalties? And wait, is Ted Cruz legally Cuban by birth??? I know cubsn law is clear but if we try hard enough, 40% of the country will believe it anyway. Why hasn't he renounced that citizenship??? The mainstream media isn't asking these questions. Why???

Birthers are a fringe element of the conservative movement, just like those on the left who think Bush and Cheney orchestrated 9/11.

What you are doing is equating all birthers with Tea Partiers and other conservatives. That's like saying that all liberals believe Bush and Cheney brought down' the towers.

Such as strange set of messages here at the end of this thread.

These folks don't believe that you exist, i.e. a conservative NON birther. They equate conservative with birther. You're wasting your time. Cruz has dual citizenship. He renounces his Canadian citizenship, and it's a non-issue.

The non-birther questions re: Obama are did he become an Indonesian citizen when his mother married his stepfather? And did he apply to college as a foreign national due to duel citizenship? These questions are as important as the ones folks are asking about Cruz, and asked about McCain.

Not even close. 45% of Republicans polled think Obma was not born in America.

Which poll?

Found the poll. CBS. Interesting that 10 % of Dems didn't believe O was born in US. Statistics on poll were odd. Twice as many Republicans as Dems. Lots of I's, too. Only 1100 people questioned.

Sigh. Here's another one: http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/55-of-republicans-believe-obama-was-born-in-a-foreign-country/

Give it up. When you have guys like Donald Trump pushing it, and the Republican nominee going to his fundraiser, you have more than a fringe problem.
