That's funny in an overwrought kind of way.

Um, I am NOT THAT POSTER. I jumped in, in that PP's defense because I find Jeff's behavior reprehensible for a moderator. Again, there is more than one conservative on this board.

Interesting. A poster called me a douchebag and an asshole. I responded without name calling. But, you find my behavior reprehensible?

I think your values are a bit warped.

He called you those things AFTER you implied he was a racist. Standard tactic for you. But liberals never admit their role in anything.

Gee that poster has yet to admit tat HS central argument was wrong. Obama turned over his birth certificate in 2008. The poster does not have te integrity to address tat point,

Frankly he's leaving motive up to the imagination. He's left us with the possibility that he discriminates against half Caucasians, which is racism, and the number 44.

So you pick.

Uh, your wrong. I am not holding the first black president to any different standard. Re-read all of my posts. Quote the parts where I am holding him to a higher standard. The "fact" that you claim you to have stated does not exist in any words I wrote.

When you state that I hold the first black president to a higher standard, you imply I am am racist. Are you now denying you implied that? You claim you made no attempt to divine my motivation. Bull. A common understanding of written language indicates your implication about my apparent racist motivation is right there. You write well. Are the readers of this thread supposed to think you aren't capable of nuanced writing that implies a meaning beyond the words themselves? Get real. None of my words were racist. You state that my posts make me look racist, that is not true. Please quote the racist parts of my posts.

I did not state that your moderation made me look racist. I merely stated your moderation is crappy. This thread is a pretty good example of that being true. In your world I guess when you imply I am racist, and I deny that, that kind of post reinforces your opinion that I am racist. Wow.

I am so glad to stand by my asshole and douchebag comments. You are earning those insults every time you imply I am a racist.

Here is your first post in this thread:

"I guess the contrast between Cruz, of whom I am no big fan, and Obama is lost on you guys? Ted Cruz already released his birth certificate. It took Obama years to do this."

This was the fifth post in this thread. At that point, nobody had mentioned Obama and nobody had mentioned birth certificates. But, you come along and suddenly make the false statement that it took Obama years to release his birth certificate and suggest that this was something that should be held against him.

Your post contains two expectations:

1) President Obama should have released his birth certificate even though no previous president had done so;
2) The President should not have waited years before releasing his birth certificate (he didn't wait years, but that's a separate topic).

You claim that you do not have a different standard for our first black president. Yet, you clearly have two expectations for him that you show no evidence of having for any other president. Again, nobody in this thread had mentioned birth certificates until you brought it up. This is something you introduced, so you must put some importance on it. What is your motivation for having a higher expectation for Obama than you appear to have for earlier presidents? You have posted several times, yet never addressed this. You can blame your failure to address this on my moderation abilities or you can simply provide an explanation. That is up to you.

. you forgot Romney should have released his historical tax returns just every other recent Presidential candidate has. Hypoocrscy thy name is Tea/Pub

Did I say you said it?

Reread and apologize when you get around to it. Otherwise I will have to ask whether this is the kind if man you aspire to be.
I was never called a douchebag. the PP was

Loyalties? Really? Who do you think he's loyal to, if not the US?

I'm not Jeff and yet I see the poster providing no explanation for his thinking. Whether of not Jeff is polite, the pp still has not resolved this to him or anyone else.

You cannot be loyal to a country that you feel needs to be fundamentally changed. That means you don't respect the Constitution, the laws of the land.

Carl Schurz, a naturalized American, who was a general and a Republican Senator, among other positions, is perjhaps best known for the quote "My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right." Loving your country should not blind you to her faults. Perhaps even fundamental faults. Unfortunately, Obama has done little to change some of the faults he himself campaigned against.

Your position is that Obama is a traitor? Is that your final answer?

If that is how you personally define the word traitor, then yep.

How does the Govt legally define traitor, that's the real question. Obama has said himself he wants to fundamentally transform America: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrefKCaV8m4

Can't do that and be loyal at the same time.

By circumventing the Constitution? I don't think so.
