Professional nanny/teacher/parenting coach, 30+ yrs., some college (no degree), but i do endless continuing education. Last FT gig was 60K. Resently been asked to consider working for a celebrity actress. Income will double (at least), if I accept. Will be responsible for training the night and weekend nannies, so my hours wouldn't be crazy.

I would love to tell parents what they are doing wrong with their brats. How do I get these qualifications and employment?

37 small business owner 50K. I work 450-500 hours a year.

DH is 38 and makes about 280K right now incl bonus. Salary is 220K.

He just got a big promo last week and his salary will go up to over 300K he thinks. Bonus will be between 80-100K.

PR, I'd say. I'm the editor/journalist ($83k) from way back on this thread. I have applied for several PR jobs but haven't gotten them.

32yo journalist here. Yes, the dark side is PR. I think about it every day. I know I'd hate it but the money is so much better.

benefits of seeing my kids grow up and being with them when they need and not worry about deadlines at work = priceless

downside of my job my 8 yr old telling "if you get a job Mom, we would have more money" = it's time to polish the resume.
