Its a matter of opinion. You can spank your kid and discipline them in that manner. I remember getting paddled in school and I learned my lesson. Maybe, he lost control when he spanked her, but why did she wait so long. Maybe, he cut her off and now she wants to get back at him. Thats whats wrong with society today everone is a bleeding heart.

In Md. law corporal punishment is legal as long as it is reasonable and not excessive. I will leave it to you to argue if this was reasonable corporal punishment. I, for one, am against all forms of corporal punishment.

Maybe I'm just old school, but I believe in discipline. I grew up like this, but now the world has changed. In my line of work, I've seen kids disrespect their parents and the parent slapping them in the face. So the child called police and the parent was arrested. Wow!!! But, the parent had no right to assault, the child. Even though that child was a POS, the parent got screwed.

Yeah a girl with cerebral pausy manhandled and beaten on a regular basis by a nutjob twice her size that controls almost every aspect of her life. Getting paddled and getting mentally and physically broken down a girl that can barely defend herself is a joke. Id love to see a man twice his size take him and beat him to submission and see how much hell learn that arrogant prick

Hey, I'm in my early 60's and believe in discipine, too. But an out of control parent cursing his daughter and whipping her with a belt?!! That's not discipline. That's a parent who has "lost it" and does not deserve to have children in his home. I felt physically sick after watching the first few minutes and had to turn it off. I can't even remotely imagine experiencing that kind of lashing from my kind and gentle parents.
