Sorry...diminutive high school peep queeks pretending to play in the big arena like their overweight and obese buffalo icons mascarading as athletes.

Please get off this thread for your own mental health. You are nuts.

I agree with your self assessment. Get off the thread!

The examples that we see again equating football with ultimate fighting illustrate precisely the Sidwell mentality.

Any sport involving contact? Barbaric, right? Better stick with cross-country running.

Football really only amounts to dog fighting and I doubt we will even be playing the game as you know it 50 years from now. Other higher order sports (think cerebral versus brain stem) will remain pretty much as you know them today (e.g., soccer, baseball, tennis, crew, squash)

Yup. There is nothing unique or special about dog fighting with helmets and padded armour. What education derives from football that is not infinitely more high powered and refined from other sport.

Football is ultimately a game for dcummies.

You pretentious snobby piece of dirt. My DC plays football. At 19 seconds:

Don't forget about the ex-wife of the jerk psychologist. She started the ball rolling in the first place and may still be pushing it down field. Can't say that I'd blame her.

Absolutely - today's NYT write-up about the father/plaintiff and his history with the school, along with the fact that he was insinuating things in his original post that no one would have publicly known then (I'm not just a Sidwell mom - I'm a lawyer, too!). I remembered this post and came on today to see if anyone else remembered it!

My hunch it was the ex-wife of the psychologist who posted this. She was the whistle blower (and probably rightly so)... and the fact she has been a part of the Sidwell community for ten years correlates w/ the fact her ex-husband was the psychologist there for ten years.
