SSSAS is undoubtedly the clear leader, no doubt about it! I had the chance to watch their last few games and got a glimpse of the future varsity team with the 2026 seniors cheering them on. The team displayed great chemistry, superb passing, and ball movement, along with impressive dodging skills! They are definitely going to dominate next year as well! KJ & BL must be thrilled to coach this talented 2027, 2028 and 2029 group of players. I even overheard parents from the opposing team mistaking their sophomores and juniors for seniors because of how well they played! They were that impressive!

I would think of it more like 1st team, 2nd team, and HM in one group. That said, all but two of the upperclassmen are committed. Decent list as well:
UVA, Michigan, Mercer, Penn, Penn, Denver, W&M, Duke, Davidson, Georgetown, Duke, FSU, UVA, Harvard, Yale, Villanova, ND, Dartmouth, Davidson, VT, Dartmouth,
Rutgers, and one D3 (UofC). Probably have to be able to catch to play at these schools.

Fair amount of commits on the ISL A list as well. All of these girls have worked hard and should be congratulated for their achievement. Was surprised not to see the NCS goalie on A.

It was sabotaged by Chandy’s other half! He saw her swag and lack of embarrassing hashtag and knew that she was a threat. Praying that he doesn’t nuke capital next! 🙏🙏🙏

SR will have the largest returning squad in recent history as they are only losing two seniors who played. Potomac is also returning most starters plus reloading with some good 2030s. Saints will be a close 3rd. While they are graduating a ton of seniors they have a deep bench and will likely call upon transfer portal again. Visi is graduating their top player and a few other very good 2026s. Their younger squad didn’t show much threat this year so they will be the weakest in the top 4.

My list:

1. SSSAS - got to beat the queen to be the queen
2. SR - have to stop the best scorer in the league
3. Potomac - beat defense in the league
4. NCS - too many great youngsters with nothing to lose
5. Holton - lone the 27 seniors
6. Visi - a little step back street losing the big two
7. Holy Child - still a good team, just too many horses
8. Bullis - no where what to put them

Try again. Look at the stats from this year with players/coaching

1. SR
2. SSSAS
3. Potomac
4. Visi
5. Holton
6. Holy Child
7. NCS
8. Bullis

I'm with "try again" guy on the preseason rankings, but 2-4 could go in any order, and 7-8 could flip as well. SR clear favorite. NCS will not be better than Holton-Arms or Holy Child, much less Visi.

Yes. Visi v SJC in finals. I am sure this will get twisted a million different ways, but as a Visi parent I loved seeing the enthusiasm and support the Sidwell parents showed for their girls.

Saints sophomores and juniors were looking strong out there! Lots of talent on that team for next year. They will definitely be able to defend that ISL title. Both teams are good but my early bets are on Saints over SR.

Not to be that person but during the Sidwell game it looked like a good 8-9 players were injured in their lineup. I doubt they could play as well while being so shallow.
