Not an SSSAS backer but laxnumbers is probably the worst ranking because it’s all algorithms and SOS is based off of the other teams terrible rankings.

I'll take numbers and figures over some schmo at Inside Lacrosse who's seen exactly 5 teams play

No one uses laxnumbers for for the above reasons. Terrible algorithm and analytics.


The most widely used and recognized rankings are by Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse. You know that already so you pull out the one from laxnumbers that is all wonky and no one pays attention ever or follows. Haters gonna hate…

I think we all need to be more sensitive to the SSSAS parents. They were once accustomed to winning banners every year. They have been on a dry spell since 2022, but had a great year in 2026. Let's give them congratulations. But I think the reason why they are still crowing now, is that they realize another banner is not coming their way for a very, very long time. Enjoy it.

The difference between you and I is that I would be happy for a team whether it was Stoneridge, Bullis, Visi or Potomac or any local team. I would not be hating on a team as a sore loser or trying to be negative. No one is sensitive and no expects to win it every year but definitely happy for local teams being ranked and winning! We all know players on all these teams so we do not hope for the worst for them unlike you. Sorry you lost this year. SSSA will be just fine next year and will definitely be in the running for all the banners and championships again. Good luck to all the ISL team players and the 2028s gearing up for summer recruiting tourneys.

Seriously? This is a '27 thread right? Can the SSSAS crew stop with the self congratulatory victory lap? You didn't play a single ranked opponent so your record means little. It certainly doesn't mean you should be ranked above GC no matter which source you quote. You played 2 maybe 3 decent teams and lost to one of them at home. If I were a parent there I would've wanted to play a tougher schedule, but somehow even pointing this out will trigger ALL CAPS responses, a hater or troll reference or some kind of you should be ashamed as my daughter was injured crap. Have some level of self awareness and let's move on to 2027 and your program's irrelevance therein. Bye Felicia.

I’m sure last year you were super pumped you lost to SR in the ISL final and when Potomac beat you and won VISAA. We should all emulate your magnanimity.

Definitely bummer but happy for those players! Know a lot of them and they played better so deserved the win! No bitter or mad love the competition for all these teams it makes our area great for lacrosse. I am not negative, jealous or petty type like many of the trolls and posters here.
