Are you not FCPS? Or are you sad that only 3 snow days can qualify because school is already closed the other 2?

Went to Costco last night, as I do most Tuesdays, and I was much busier than usual. Not war zone, but not pleasant.

Same at the grocery store for me and I was surprised.

What the hell are you talking about? Absolutely no one has argued in this thread. It’s been nice!

How would you stock up this early? All your produce and bread and meat would go bad by Sunday/Monday?

The Capitol Weather Gang is refusing to put out their prediction until later in the week, so maybe tomorrow or Friday. Their daily updates have been fun. Yesterday they said that they were pretty sure we would get an inch but that the models were still all over the place. I am waiting for their prediction because the models have everything from no snow to 22 inches.

Some of the chicken I got has dates in February. I’ve got a ground beef with a similar date. We really don’t need much. I expect we can be out by Wednesday.

I’ve gotten paper products such as paper towels, toilet paper and tissues.

No one else saw the one inch thing. Time to move on.

This is crazy that the range is so wide.

We were supposed to go out of town next weekend for the work days. Wondering if we should just fly out early

Do you not regularly shop for a week? You can absolutely buy food on Wednesday that will still be good on Monday.

I would fly out early if you can. My guess is flight delays/cancellations are going to start hitting Friday evening when the storm forms in the central US and airlines won’t catch up until after Monday.

I have three teenagers and one fridge. I shop 3-4 times a week. We go through 6-7 gallons of milk in a week.
