I've been hearing this a lot lately from a lot of parents. it will be interesting if anyone actually follows through

What is with Loudoun united now having a super y team? Is it affiliated with revolution too?

The super y team is revolution just using united as the name. Rev sent an email to the club teams saying we have super y now and everyone should try out. Wouldn’t be surprised if revolution rebrands as loudoun united at some point.

Wouldn’t that be too confusing with Loudoun soccer right there?

Loudoun Soccer is merging as well. This is confirmed now. The new club name will be Loudoun Revolutiom United. (LRU)

Looking at their coach slate, they seem to have some coaches with a LOT of teams. Does Rev have paid assistant coaches to cover game conflicts? Do the coaches combine practices to get double pay for the same hours?

There are so many bad teams in GA South Midatlantic that I don’t think they’re at risk of losing GA any time soon, but they missed the window for creating a strong program by reconstituting FCV under a different badge. There’s just too much legacy VRSC still there.
