If, as you say, polls are irrelevant because they are wrong, how do you gauge support for Trump and his policies? What metric are YOU using? Or do you just consult yourself, as Trump does?

I never mentioned support for Trump. That’s is an assumption you made because I questioned your opinion on who is going to get the blame.


Most people are not patient nor sophisticated enough to fully understand why the Democrats keep voting no on reopening the govt.
These people are not the ones responding to the polls.
And the ones that do understand why the Dems are keeping the govt shut down don’t understand why a CR cannot be passed and then deal with ACA. Why should more people suffer?

Honestly, this might have to be the thing to do. Blue states will come in to rescue their people. Let the red state MAGAs learn some valuable lessons about the their voting history. Same with their insurance premiums.
