How conservative is Washington & Lee?

Imagine applying to a school named “Washington & Lee,” where Robert E. Lee was the President and is in fact buried on the campus- and then self-importantly stating the “Lee moniker makes it nearly a non-starter.”

I think it’s pretty clear that neither you nor your son belongs at W&L And from the looks of it, God help whatever institution where such an obnoxious pair ends up.

Thank you. My immediate reaction after just reading the OP is, oh. Here is someone with a huge chip on their shoulder who clearly wants to pick a political fight so they're going to pretend they have some interest in W&L. So, so very transparent.
