I watched the whole thing and shes getting frustrated because she doesnt want to cater to the Trump obsessions, Shes saying ask me the questions about my stance so the voters can make a decision based on me. Also, she clearly answered the question- in multiple ways, multiple times.
Regardless this is just her saying Im done with the antagonist approach. I would LOVE to see the "other" interviews to see if the reporter treated them the same.

Yes, they are showing the same answers to the same questions. That is the point. What you are seeing is how calmly and rationally every other candidate responded.

Those clips — the comparison — will appear shortly in every candidate’s ads. And it is going to be devastating, especially combined with everything else coming out.

I agree. There's a lot of resentment toward progressives in California. Even San Francisco recalled their DA. If Democrats choose a rude, abrasive, and unlikeable candidate, they will be vulnerable as long as Republicans choose someone sane. People can mock Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he would win in a heartbeat over Katie Porter today.

There is no question in my mind that an Arnold Schwarzenegger would win over Porter.

What a lot of DCUM posters do not get because they aren’t here in CA is that for much of the state, from the very wealthiest to the very poorest, the quality of life in the state has degraded under Newsom and particularly the progressives. I don’t think I know a single person who thinks their quality of life in California has gotten better since Newsom was elected. Almost everyone hates ICE, even conservatives and Republicans, so that creates a serious opening, but a reasonable-sounding Republican who asks the question “Are you better off?” could do very well. The anger at what the progressives have done to this state runs very deep.

Honestly? Yes. I do not think the degradation has been as sharp and as widespread as anywhere else, with the possible exception of Hawaii.
