Dollars to donuts that's what's happening.

However, Russia has been up to a lot of shenanigans recently.

Putin owns Trump. Trump would never invade Russia or China. This is more likely a loyalty oath, humiliate and remove anyone who seems competent.

Arguably no American President should. At least not under conditions as they are today.

I also don't think the American people are going to be down AT ALL with putting boots on the ground in Russia.

This is not the reason Trump would never invade or attack Russia or China. Trump is under Putin’s control and China scares him.

Honestly, as out there as this seems, it also seems likely.

Know what other country does stuff like this? North Korea. They'll recall all of a certain category of diplomat or military attache. You have to show up but you also know that someone (hopefully not you) is going to the gulag or to execution at that gathering.

This does seem likely.

Social media is trying to build this up.

The real crises is what we are not seeing.

I wish this were true, but as Harris says, everyone is capitulating.

So there will be 400 videos of military leaders saying Thank You. But the black and women generals and admirals will be fired regardless. Because DEI.

Which is unfortunate. DUI is the ticket to success in this administration.

“I didn’t get a harrumph from that man.”

“Give the governor a harrumph!”

A) Something awful, involving other countries, is expected to happen soon.
B) Hegseth is too dumb to realize the optics of this.
C) Trump has decided to go after Russia. Lately his talk about Putin has changed, plus Russia/China/North Korea are making sure everyone remembers they're good buddies.
D) They are planning to increase attacks on Americans they disagree with and expect to involve all branches of the military.
E) There will be a major military shakeup, causing great instability in the U.S. and abroad.

No matter what, Hegseth is obviously too dumb to realize that putting all of our top leaders in one place is bad, very bad. I actually wonder if I should start making plans with my family for meeting places in case of severe actions. I tend to be level-headed (I've been called an under-reactor) but this meeting is not normal.

B, D, E

A and C are no reason for this bizarre in person meeting.
D and E are no reason either, but require the authoritarian dictator show of force to overwhelm any lingering Constitutional instincts.

Not to distract from the Grand Summoning, but I didn't know where else to put this news item. What next? Award medals to the perpetrators of the My Lai massacre?

Hegseth says Wounded Knee soldiers will keep their Medals of Honor

WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced that he has decided that the 20 soldiers who received the Medal of Honor for their actions in 1890 at Wounded Knee will keep their awards in a video posted to social media Thursday evening.

Hegseth’s predecessor, Lloyd Austin, ordered the review of the awards in 2024 after a Congressional recommendation in the 2022 defense bill — itself a reflection of efforts by some lawmakers to rescind the awards for those who participated in the bloody massacre on South Dakota’s Pine Ridge Indian Reservation near Wounded Knee Creek.

While the events of that day are sometimes described as a battle, historical records show that the U.S. Army, which was in the midst of amid a campaign to repress the tribes in the area, killed an estimated 250 Native Americans, including women and children, of the Lakota Sioux tribe, while attempting to disarm Native American fighters who had already surrendered at their camp.

For the families that remain, I’m sure it isn’t something they are proud of. It brings great shame to have been the perpetrators of such horrific violence against our native people.

Why would we put anyone inside Russia? It's too big to occupy and the country is poor af. We should not even want it.

It’s to salve his ego, knowing he, a National Guard infantryman with little leadership experience, can control the movements of hundreds of highly decorated officers, who he must know despise him, and lecture them for an hour.

So we're going to use taxpayer dollars to get all these people from around the world to Quantico on a last minute basis so a TV host can lecture career soldiers on "warrior ethos"?

Could this administration just go 1 day without being completely embarrassing?
