No one should be an organ donor, especially as the generation age and will be wanting things like new kidneys/livers/bone parts and plasma. |
Now, if there is a plan to sell my organs and the money can go to either a charity of my choice or a next of kin, I am interested in that. |
Nooooo! It’s a cash cow for THEM!!!!!! |

The big pharma propaganda machine owns American media. Without constant pharma advertising, media would be devastated. Think about that every time you see another ad for their drugs. |
America is only one of two countries that allow pharma advertising everywhere else it's illegal. That tells you a lot. |
Pharma wants us to demand prescriptions for the drugs they advertise.
If we have to tell doctors which drugs we want, their education is useless. |
Excellent pushback in the nyt comments. One person argues that broadening the definition will reduce the number of potential donors since it’s scary. Others point out how it sounds like this op-ed was written by soulless robots. |
I wonder when this disregard for the sanctity of life started? From the article “ Citing the number of Americans waiting for organs, H.H.S. said in 2020 that it would begin grading procurement organizations on how many transplants they arranged. The department has threatened to end its contracts with groups performing below average, starting next year. Many have raised their numbers by pursuing more circulatory death donors. Hm. The Daily podcast with the article author made sure to put a bit more focus on which administration was responsible for applying pressure on these organizations to up their numbers. |
Black market organ trafficking is happening in Columbia, Philippines, China, India and Ukraine to transport the organs here, in iceboxes.
Why are so many Americans sick? More than anywhere else? |
