Are you terrified that YOU could be wrongly deported and then the US would refuse to bring you back?

Wow no one believes that. American citizens are kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags with no trial or due process. I remember when the right care about sh#t like this and the constitution.

What US citizen has been “kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags”?

First they sent the illegal immigrants to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not an illegal immigrant.

Then they sent the legitimate asylum seekers to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not a legitimate asylum seeker.

Then the President went on TV and said he wanted to send US citizens to a literal concentration camp and I said "don't worry, I'm pretty sure I know how the rest of this goes - he stops there and everything is OK, right?"

Being a citizen means something. I know you and yours don’t know the difference between legal, illegal and a citizen, but they are worlds apart from each other.

Despite your feelings, any noncitizen here in the United States is a guest. And as a guest they need to know that they can be removed.

Like European tourists at the border?
So if you’re going on vacation to, say, the Netherlands to look at the tulip fields, it’s ok to arrest you at Schiphol airport and put you in a prison for the next 4 weeks? NVM that prisons in the NL are pretty nice.

No, I’m not worried in the least. If that happens to me, a naturalized citizen, I would move to my country of origin while the legal hassle is handled. If it was taking too long (more than 6 months), I would move my America born daughters there as well.

My daughters would come back later for college though. I may or may not… I would probably move to Europe with my husband when all is settled. I have no desire to live in my country of origin long term - there is nothing for me there any longer.

My husband has dual citizenship with Italy, and my children have triple (us, Italy and my country of origin).

What exactly does being a citizen mean when ICE abducts you, puts you on a plane to El Salvador with ZERO due process, and locks you in a prison nobody has ever left, controlled by a dictator who has refused to release a prisoner that the Supreme Court has ordered returned?

You can say "oh they would never do that to a citizen" all you want but do you really not understand how stupid that makes you sound when the President is literally saying that's exactly what he wants to do? What exactly do you think is stopping him from doing it? The Supreme Court who he is right this very minute openly defying on this very same issue? Impeachment when his party controls all of Congress? Common decency and respect for the Constituion and laws of this country? That's the most far fetched of all.

Typical misinformed, emotional, ridiculously absurd comment.
ICE didn't abduct him.
He is NOT a US citizen.
He already had due process...twice.
He is a citizen of El Salvador.
There are no dictators involved in this case.
The Supreme Court did not order the release of any prisoner.

You're delusional

I don't know where you get your news, but you have every fact listed incorrect Let me respond to you in order.

ICE arrested him on his way home from work without a warrant. That can be view viewed as an abduction since he was not doing any criminal activity nor was he accused of any criminal activity.

While he is not a US citizen, he went before an immigration judge in 2019 that said he should not be deported to El Salvador because a gang in his native country had been targeting him and threatening him with death because his family's pupusa business. That judge said he could be deported to another country but not El Salvador.

He did not get due process. Due process means he received a notice of the charges and an opportunity to contest the charges. You stated that he had this done twice. Please provide evidence.

Yes, he is still a citizen of El Salvador, but see my comment above about a judge ruling that he could not be deported to El Salvador as his life had been threatened

And yes, there are two dictators involved in this case. One is our Trump. As an aside as you may not be aware of it, but we are no longer a democracy. Even the world has recognized that. And the other dictator is Nayib Bukele.

Let me define dictator for you. .1. A ruler with total power over a country. and 2. somebody who behaves in an autocratic way.

And lastly, regarding the Supreme Court. Yes they voted unanimously 9-0, that he should be brought home.

I don't see evidence that they are currently in prison,. Looks like they were held for 10 days in a small cell and are now free. They're not allowed to return to the states until the case occurs, but they are not in prison.

NO, where there is smoke there is fire.

I don't believe the sob stories on MSM. they seemed to look the other way when 15,000,000 illegal aliens flooded the southern border and went to sanctuary cities across the US.

Trump is doing what we voted for.

Your definition of due process and other's differs.

It's not a "gulag". That's your emotional term.

50 USC 21.

Hilarious how you crowed about deprogramming MAGA. Looks like you needed it.

If you are going to state that the definition of due process is different, please outline your definition and does it not include that the individuals have a right to be informed what they did wrong and to present their case before a decision is made?
And obviously Gulag was just used to compare the quality of the detention center in El Salvador. We know a Gulag iis a forced labor camp. You are being pedantic.

You Republicans have lazy arguments
