This is all you got? Pathetic |
No outrage for us students held in Denmark over bogus Uber driver claim? https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2025/04/15/travel/us-students-uber-driver-dispute-denmark-intl-latam |
No, I’m not worried in the least. If that happens to me, a naturalized citizen, I would move to my country of origin while the legal hassle is handled. If it was taking too long (more than 6 months), I would move my America born daughters there as well.
My daughters would come back later for college though. I may or may not… I would probably move to Europe with my husband when all is settled. I have no desire to live in my country of origin long term - there is nothing for me there any longer. My husband has dual citizenship with Italy, and my children have triple (us, Italy and my country of origin). |
I don't know where you get your news, but you have every fact listed incorrect Let me respond to you in order. ICE arrested him on his way home from work without a warrant. That can be view viewed as an abduction since he was not doing any criminal activity nor was he accused of any criminal activity. While he is not a US citizen, he went before an immigration judge in 2019 that said he should not be deported to El Salvador because a gang in his native country had been targeting him and threatening him with death because his family's pupusa business. That judge said he could be deported to another country but not El Salvador. He did not get due process. Due process means he received a notice of the charges and an opportunity to contest the charges. You stated that he had this done twice. Please provide evidence. Yes, he is still a citizen of El Salvador, but see my comment above about a judge ruling that he could not be deported to El Salvador as his life had been threatened And yes, there are two dictators involved in this case. One is our Trump. As an aside as you may not be aware of it, but we are no longer a democracy. Even the world has recognized that. And the other dictator is Nayib Bukele. Let me define dictator for you. .1. A ruler with total power over a country. and 2. somebody who behaves in an autocratic way. And lastly, regarding the Supreme Court. Yes they voted unanimously 9-0, that he should be brought home. |
I don't see evidence that they are currently in prison,. Looks like they were held for 10 days in a small cell and are now free. They're not allowed to return to the states until the case occurs, but they are not in prison. |
DP. Sorry but you’re wrong on most of these. For starters, you need to read a serious analysis of the SCOTUS decision to understand what it does (and does not) mean. |
NO, where there is smoke there is fire. I don't believe the sob stories on MSM. they seemed to look the other way when 15,000,000 illegal aliens flooded the southern border and went to sanctuary cities across the US. Trump is doing what we voted for. |
I think you will find, with time, that Trump is doing a little more than you voted for. |
I never heard him speak about spending tens of millions a year of tax payer $$ to use military jets to deport immigrants on top of tens of millions more to fund dictator-sponsored concentration camps?? |
What an absurd idea. Citizens aren’t “deported.”
Are you aware that Hamas is holding a US citizen to this day? Where is the media outrage? |
Then please educate me. |
Um Trump has said he is looking into sending American citizens to El Salvador. You are right it wouldn’t really be deportation. Deporting implies sending people to their countries of origin. What do you call sending people to gulags without due process? |
This is a lazy response. Explain how all of these are wrong as well as elaborate on the SCOTUS decision to help us understand what you mean. |
Your definition of due process and other's differs. It's not a "gulag". That's your emotional term. 50 USC 21. Hilarious how you crowed about deprogramming MAGA. Looks like you needed it. |
NP If you are going to state that the definition of due process is different, please outline your definition and does it not include that the individuals have a right to be informed what they did wrong and to present their case before a decision is made? And obviously Gulag was just used to compare the quality of the detention center in El Salvador. We know a Gulag iis a forced labor camp. You are being pedantic. You Republicans have lazy arguments |
