I'll believe it when I see it but this would probably be the best option for the area. Have one competitive AAA program instead of two weak ones. |
My impression is that TM will take one solid kid from each (some) of the MD teams other than MYHA, even though that may not represent the absolute top talent, which is probably a good practice. |
Fakest news on here |
| Sadly it’s not. They will come back in few years just like Knights… but for now they are folding. They have no rink and Ion is not an option… call town of Leesburg. |
They have more teams and players than TM and options for where to play why would they fold, lol and what does the town of Leesburg have anything to do with it. |
| They don’t have any options for the home rink. I am sorry that is not what you would like to hear. |
The program may not be folding but all of the decent players are leaving to play elsewhere because they're done with the BS. It's safe to assume WLC teams will all drop in the rankings next season compared to previous years. |
How are the 2014/2013s able to find teams at this point? |
That doesn't really explain why there were 50% more kids at WLC's tryouts this week then TM's. |
It sure does. Lots of AA and low level (TM) AAA kids went because they now have a shot at making a team since so many players left. |
| How soon after WLC tryouts end do they usually notify kids if they made it? You will have a window of time after that to accept and pay right? Just wondering if anymore of this saga will unfold before 2012 and older kids will commit to the program |
| You will be notified by Sunday. You already signed agreement. |
| They'll be at Ion. |
If you are selected you owe the fees. You already accepted the contract when you signed up for tryouts. Did you not read any of it before paying for tryouts? |
Loudoun Knights season is on and they're staying at Ion for the long term. Ion will be expanding to 4 rinks. They'll be having tryouts for 14/16/18u at the same time as other their 2 teams in the region. |
