You labeling him as a war criminal doesn't make him one.
The whole reason for free speech is to allow viewpoints different from what you agree with to be heard.

He is not guaranteed free speech in front of the US Congress, oh the smart one. He has no free speech protections under our Constitution as he is not a US citizen. He was invited and then dissed by both the president and the vice president. So, yes, it was a mistake to invite him. I can't understand why you would think it would be a good idea to invite such a polarizing figure and then complain when people trash the city.

Because civilized people don't react in this way. You are going to say well it is justified, well you can think that. The destructive protests actually are a sign to the American people to do what we want or else (cease funding and supporting Israel)--they really are not aimed at Net.

Actually, I would never say that property destruction is a way to achieve anything. I do think peaceful protests have a place and a time and have been effective. You seem to be blind to the fact that people are angry and some of them grieving for family members. But I know you don't care about them.

What did his visit accomplish exactly? Yes, he met with rich donors and spoke to congress. Were they not going to support him if he didn't come?

I am angry that people are still being held hostage
I am angry at protestors trying to intimidate and strong arm Americans into doing what they want.
We all have feelings. So there.
His visit is to show the world that the U.S. supports his cause. It is diplomacy.

And that precisely is what I am calling a mistake. We should NOT be supporting correct Israeli policies. As a taxpayer I am allowed to be angry about that.

Never destroyed anyone else's property in my life. I've also not killed innocent people by the thousands either, so there is that.
