I have already seen friends/families post two Wake ED admissions in the past 3 weeks and multiple recruited athlete postings over the summer; what is the big deal on posting ED Chicago ?

Jealousy.

No one is jealous about wake forest or being a recruited athlete.

But you think people are jealous of going to the school where fun dies?

Where fun goes to die is an old saying and continues as a tongue in cheek joke. Yes it’s intellectually rigorous, but the kids do have fun. Parents of current students there care to weigh in?

Parent of a first year here - kids are having fun there. Too much, if I were to be really judgmental.

I’m a parent of a current HS senior and I’m quite jealous of the kids in her class who have been recruited for athletics and are committed to schools that seem way above their academic fit.
