So, we should promote teen pregnancies.

Do us all a favor and look up “logical fallacies” and do some research on why this leap you took is absolutely ridiculous.

(She probably thought this was clever when she posted it. Took a sip of Chablis and chuckled to herself.)

Do me a favor and mow my grass after you clean my toilets.

This is such an incredibly embarrassing response. Wow. You really hit “submit” on this?

What time will you over to do the jobs?

Don’t rile yourself up trying to think of anymore smart responses. It isn’t cute or interesting, and you can’t afford me, anyway. Thanks for the laugh at your expense!

You must be an expert housekeeper, as I suspected since you’re costly. I’ll pay and I’ll laugh at you the whole time.
Thanks for the laugh as you twist yourself into a frenzy.

This is why we don’t invite you or your kids. Just so you know.

It’s mutual and I decided it. Just so you know.

Paid for by donations from non teenage parents.

Most of the people bashing the OP:
1. Know nothing about the circumstances of her young pregnancy; and 2. Are probably “pro-life”.

Just don’t let that life go to school with my kids.

Well, if your kids follow in your footsteps, you’ll be a grandma within the year so…

So ... what?

Thank you to all who donate, by the way. I smile each night as I encourage my teens to have unprotected sex so they too can benefit from the generosity of the judgemental elite.

Circumstances of 2 teen pregnancies?
Promiscuous behavior? No?

No one believes you disingenuous comment at a failed “gotcha.”

OP has one child (I think). The other poster had 2. But yes, I will not make presumptions about the circumstances.

NP-You think there are no donations to those who can’t afford tuition? If so, you know nothing about privates.

I’m not the one who commented but that is not a so, what situation. Wtf is wrong with you?

OP, in my experience as an older mom, it’s the younger moms (not the older ones) who give age much thought. Why would anyone care if you’re young? If you’re a jerk - young or old - I’d definitely care. If I had to race against you at field day, I’d have momentary concern. But otherwise? You do you.

OP, when did you have this kid?

That wasn’t the op. When did everyone on DCUM lose their ability to read?

While I try to conceal my age, I can't help but age myself sometimes; I'm typically 10-20 years younger than most parents. In a public school setting it has generally not been an issue, mostly because parents are uninvolved and unseen.

Today I woke up with new found anxiety about my age and how my child would be perceived. The school DS was accepted to is a top school and I want nothing more than for him to be accepted by his peers. I'm worried that the parent community won't truly accept me and in turn it will affect him socially.

Any other young private school parents out there with advice?

I don’t think it will be an issue at all. I find I tend to bond by the age of our kids rather than our age if that makes sense. I can have more in common with a much older or much younger parent with same age kids than someone my age without kids or with kids a different age.

Have confidence and it will be fine!
