Where is Nick Surcamp next year? I thought he was the 08 coach -that's what the website says. |
2008 is a really strong team. Why would they give it to him? |
The email we got said he was moving to Richmond and that Roberto would be coaching 2008s. |
Wow. Huge loss for Loudoun. |
|
Roberto is a great coach 2010s love him.
Nick will Be missed…. |
I thought NS was coaching NVA 08 through this year? |
| I was visiting friends in McLean and they mentioned a Coach Danny leaving MYS where their kids play. They spoke as if it was a major loss for them. |
| Def loss. DB is awesome. But there are many very good coaches in McLean’s ECNL program. And solid connections/history with college programs. And there’s really no one better than CW, who is at mclean. |
Butler is leaving MYS? He's one of their best coaches. |
He is the best MYS pre-ECNL girls coach. He doesn’t coach ECNL level girls at VA Union so won’t affect current older groups. |
aha well he coaching ecnl girls now… u think he will be able to fix the 2011/10s |
| as those age groups get older, stronger players from outside the club will join anyway. by U15-16, Loudon is really a talent magnet. at U13 and U14 mostly their own original players. |
This fits with what he’s really best at which is bringing in outside girls. |
Man this board is a cesspool sometimes. DB is an excellent coach. Any program would be lucky to have him. Loudoun is better off with DB on staff. It’s a bummer for mclean to lose a talented coach who actually cares about the kids. And he learned from the best in CW. It’s also true that McLean will carry on with a strong tradition of playing and teaching beautiful soccer. DB didn’t coach ECNL (though he could have), so mclean ECNL program will remain exceptional. As always. And good players will continue seeking out mclean for the coaching, college pathway, etc. |
Is McLean still exceptional? Is it 2018? |
