That post was giving strong Ava Eva Coleman vibes. |
This is so wrong. Most of the fentanyl carried over is by citizens. Drug seizures at the U.S.-Mexico border, by pounds seized, are trending down, yet it is important to acknowledge that there is an increase in illicit fentanyl smuggling into the U.S. The challenge, however, is not purely an immigration issue. Illicit fentanyl is being smuggled predominantly by U.S. citizens and through ports of entry. Federal programs to stop the flow of fentanyl, when successful, ultimately focus on interdiction technology and targeted inspections." https://immigrationforum.org/article/illicit-fentanyl-and-drug-smuggling-at-the-u-s-mexico-border-an-overview/ "n 2021, U.S. citizens were 86.3 percent of convicted fentanyl drug traffickers—ten times greater than convictions of illegal immigrants for the same offense." https://www.cato.org/blog/fentanyl-smuggled-us-citizens-us-citizens-not-asylum-seekers "Prosecutors and defense lawyers say Haley's story is typical; the vast majority of illicit fentanyl — close to 90% — is seized at official border crossings. Immigration authorities say nearly all of that is smuggled by people who are legally authorized to cross the border, and more than half by U.S. citizens like Haley. Virtually none is seized from migrants seeking asylum. So maybe learn something before passing off wrong information |
Is the principal going to be removed. Morale at Justice is low. She can't even give a proper apology. |
Take a wild guess. |
Stop. Why would she be put on leave? There’s nothing to investigate. No crime was committed or even alleged. Poor judgment? For sure. But nothing warranting administrative leave. Troll with your racism elsewhere. |
I said exactly the same thing!! |
I'm a Justice teacher and she should not be put on leave, but she needs to be transferred. She was already disliked, but this is the icing on the cake. There is no coming back from this. She will either go or there will be a mass exodus (there already was one last year). I won't be staying if she remains the principal. |
I don’t think any school in FCPS should be burdened with someone with such obviously poor judgment. Bury her deep within the bowels of Gatehouse if you must but this woman should not be in any principal position. |
On the school’s social media she appears to be well-liked by students and teachers, but anonymous online posts here disagree. So who knows. But the most important aspect of any school is setting and maintaining high academic standards, irrespective of online photos. If Justice is doing fine in those areas then the school’s admin should be retained for the sake of continuity. In FCPS there is too much principal turnover. In neighboring districts principals stay on for ten years on average and often longer. |
Justice had over 50 teachers transfer last school year. |
Agree. If fcps/parents can't trust her to handle the easy issues with good judgment (i.e. you don't post a victorious smile with a reference to a child's desth); then my god...how can they trust her to handle the dicey issues with good judgment. Her post was intentionally connecting the death of a child with her happiness and success. That is sociopath behavior. |
How come there's never any actions when an insane amount of people leave? 50 people is easily half the staff. |
If she can’t handle THIS with any degree of grace or empathy, then I wonder what else is amiss in her personality. I don’t think she’s well-regarded among staff. This could be an example of why.

Justice parent — she is NOT liked by students, teachers or parents and, sadly, she won’t be going anywhere. |
This is the same woman who was constantly quoting the Bible and Joel Osteen to staff. The bigger the front, the bigger the back. |
