I'm a Justice teacher and she should not be put on leave, but she needs to be transferred. She was already disliked, but this is the icing on the cake. There is no coming back from this. She will either go or there will be a mass exodus (there already was one last year). I won't be staying if she remains the principal.

I don’t think any school in FCPS should be burdened with someone with such obviously poor judgment. Bury her deep within the bowels of Gatehouse if you must but this woman should not be in any principal position.

On the school’s social media she appears to be well-liked by students and teachers, but anonymous online posts here disagree. So who knows. But the most important aspect of any school is setting and maintaining high academic standards, irrespective of online photos. If Justice is doing fine in those areas then the school’s admin should be retained for the sake of continuity. In FCPS there is too much principal turnover. In neighboring districts principals stay on for ten years on average and often longer.

Justice had over 50 teachers transfer last school year.

Agree. If fcps/parents can't trust her to handle the easy issues with good judgment (i.e. you don't post a victorious smile with a reference to a child's desth); then my god...how can they trust her to handle the dicey issues with good judgment.

Her post was intentionally connecting the death of a child with her happiness and success. That is sociopath behavior.

If she can’t handle THIS with any degree of grace or empathy, then I wonder what else is amiss in her personality. I don’t think she’s well-regarded among staff. This could be an example of why.
