Drug overdose @Justice HS

An email just came out with an apology, which is fine, but no mention at all about a plan to try to reduce the amount of drugs in the school. So once again the focus is on the principal and not on the students.

I teach in Loudoun and have spoken with our school board members about tiered needs to address the drug crisis in schools. There isn’t a plan. They are SHOCKINGLY unaware and unprepared for this reality. It is going to take a lot of people working together to get anything done on this in any school district.

It wasn't an apology. She said she is sorry for the negative attention and that her tweet was inadvertently taken out of context. She's not owning up to her mistake, which is making the staff displeased with her even more.

An acquaintance of mine, whose daughter attends a high school in LCPS, is going through the worst possible hell any parent could ever imagine due to the fact that recently her daughter began doing drugs in the school’s bathrooms with friends she met at school, and she is now in the ER. When the mom contacted the school to report the illegal activity and demand accountability on the part of the school, the AP told her that the school’s job is not to babysit the students and that they could not search students’ backpacks to see if they had brought drugs to school.

While this mom was at the ER with her daughter over the weekend, other kids were being admitted with what appeared to be overdoses.

Apparently, the kids are smoking liquid odorless marihuana, which they allegedly get from home and “share” with their friends, though my guess is they are selling it at school. I’m sure there are also other illegal substances being distributed at school and consumed there or at home. So, for those who are in denial, the overdose email notifications we are receiving from FCPS are pretty much on target: we are facing a drug crisis and we need to get out of our bubble.

Once again a principal of a particular background in FCPS gets to get away with something unprofessional and distasteful. Reid basically did what they did with Nardos King when she released that advertisement at MVHS. “Room of growth”, “nobody’s perfect”. If a teacher, other staff member, or someone else of other backgrounds did what Narcisse did they would have immediately been put on administrative leave and possibly fired. It’s not fair.

Who cares? It was a dumb Tweet, she deleted her account. The problem is that Nova has one political party that is soft on crime and is allowing hard drugs to flow into the schools. Blue votes = dead kids.

Ah yes drugs and ODs are definitely not an issue in red areas. Nope, not at all.

I care. I have ties to the school and Narcisse is an embarrassment - a self-promoting buffoon at a school that needs strong leadership. She isn’t responsible for prosecutorial decisions made by Descano’s office, or for Penny Gross turning a blind eye to zoning violations in Mason for decades, but she’s still awful in her own right.

Principals should not have twitters period. So that’s good it’s been deleted. But anonymous posters on here are making her out to be like the principal on the hit sitcom Abbott Elementary. I don’t know about that. If that was the case, FCPS leadership would have appointed a new principal, or started a search for a new one.

It's not deleted, she just made it so people can't comment. I spoke to a Justice teacher today, they are not happy.

Narcisse is getting actively trolled on Libs of Tik Tok now.

Why does FCPS have so many clowns turning it into a national laughingstock?

Reid came in and pledged her support for Narcisse, she ain't going anywhere.

Where and when did Reid pledge her support?

At a staff meeting on Tuesday.

She's the worst. I can't believe Reid is supporting her. I can't wait to see the staff survey at the end of the year.
