She's staying. Dr. Reid has pledged her support for her. Her staff ratings will be super low this year and many teachers will transfer, but she'll keep smiling and be the principal.

When the mom contacted the school to report the illegal activity and demand accountability on the part of the school, the AP told her that the school’s job is not to babysit the students and that they could not search students’ backpacks to see if they had brought drugs to school.

While this mom was at the ER with her daughter over the weekend, other kids were being admitted with what appeared to be overdoses.

Apparently, the kids are smoking liquid odorless marihuana, which they allegedly get from home and “share” with their friends, though my guess is they are selling it at school. I’m sure there are also other illegal substances being distributed at school and consumed there or at home. So, for those who are in denial, the overdose email notifications we are receiving from FCPS are pretty much on target: we are facing a drug crisis and we need to get out of our bubble.

Pretty much out of control in LCPS, as well as in FCPS:

Stupid. If a teacher posted something like this on social media the day after a student died, they'd be fired immediately and rightfully so.

Next year Justice will have a ton of unfilled positions or positions filled by long term subs who aren't qualified to teach the subject matter. Those students deserve better.

Not even close. No one would be fired for this. That’s just your make up assertion so that you can keep dredging this up. It was a really stupid post. But grounds for firing? No.

I do question her leadership based on some of the people I’ve seen her hire. But this? Again, not grounds for firing.

She came to a staff meeting and sent an email about it.
