Won’t Frumin at least deliver on his pledge to bring more pickle ball to Ward 3? |
| Also Blame Elisa Silverman. She illegally bought and released a phony poll to weaken Gouket and boost Frumin. That’s not all she did to try to be Ward 3’s kingmaker. She shoved an ANC gerrymandering scheme down voters’ throats as well, even mocking them by promising to hold a big party to celebrate the redistricting they opposed. At least Ward 3 voters punished her for that — bye, bye Silverman! Let’s do the same thing with other DC politicos who won’t listen to the voters. |
| That pickleball pledge was hysterical. He put out his top five priorities for ward 3 shortly after his election, and CRIME WAS NOT AMONG THEM. Pickleball was, of course. RIdiculous. |
Speaking for all of Maryland, hard pass. |

There was another stabbing yesterday at the Van Ness metro.

Does he live in close proximity to the crimes? |
Like almost all of the pro-crime officials, he’s insulated. See no evil, hear no evil. |
No, he lives in the heart of AU Park, so he basically experiences none of this. |
Even having one of these violent crimes happen five years ago would have been a huge deal. Now it’s common. |
|
Frumin is not the right person for this job at this time. His inaction and refusal to even engage with his constituents on the issue of crime will lead to further spiraling.
Too bad the voters didn’t pay more attention during the election. Elections, consequences, etc etc |
| Is there any organized effort yet to complain about the crime that's overwhelming the benefits of living in our neighborhood? We're a young family hoping to stay here to raise our children and have felt so grateful to live in this city for the last two decades. We will move as a last resort but would at least like to try to save the neighborhood. Is anyone organizing a letter-writing campaign, Twitter campaign, phone bank, etc. in an attempt to get our elected officials to do something? |
I think 2024 will be worse than 20023 and it will take a council member losing to a “tough on crime” primary opponent for any change to begin. That will take a decade to reverse the slide. |
Contact your CM and the mayor’s office. Make your concerns known. |

I went back and looked at campaign issues in the last Ward 3 election. Crime was not even listed as an issue. That tells you how quickly things have spiralled out of control.
People, we need candidates! Retirees are great for this - they have plenty of time to give. Talk to your wise neighbors and colleagues, please!! |
