All except for one or two were handpicked by Cleveland Park Smart Growth (which gerrymandered the ANC lines also) and we’re actively supported by WABA. Is it such a surprise? |
DC's tax revenues are declining and CRE still not completely felt. What is the end game here? I used to think a friend's place in The Saratoga was so nice, and it was peaceful, easy parking compared to EoTP, etc. Now so many sketchy people hanging out on Connecticut, in Forest Hills park, on Wisconsin too. |
|
The L2 bus that runs down Connecticut and upon which many elderly rely has changed quite a bit, too, recently.

This still stings. What an awful group. |
If I recall at the time, people in DC were very anti Republican because they had PTSD from Trump. |
Follow up. I did. And then received boiler plate talking points. |
DC Republicans would be Democrats anywhere else. I'm one, so I can assure you of that. I voted for the not-Frumin. |
| I also felt badly for Cheh getting thrown under the bus when she questioned the crime mess on Ct. Ave. Her car had just gotten boosted and I had zero qualms that she came out mildly swinging. I was surprised that the city she had done quite a bit for canceled her over some very tepid statements on crime. And now we have Frumin! |
It disgusts me. |
These people love to ignore in a crisis. They are not in office to serve our kind. The crime isn't exactly a surprise to him- this is just the beginning. Afterall, he continued to bring the vouchers- even boasted about it to the neighborhood after Mary Cheh, who was less outspoken as Frumin. Cheh was a devil in sheeps clothes. The neighborhood and our lives was doomed when these people were elected. They're trouble. They love to to stand with the 'other' and the wrong side of the law to get elected or for employment in positions of authority. With a blink of an eye, our safety, benefits, rights, etc are all gone. We are expected to have less than, corruption is just part of living in DC, mediocrity is fine, lawlessness and violence is acceptable- all in the name of racial justice. Why did everyone vote for this man? I hope everyone has learned a lesson. |
The end game is that downtown Bethesda and Chevy Chase Lake are looking better and better. |
Friendship Place is a nuisance and brought a lot of the crime to the neighborhood. It should relocate to a neighborhood comprised of the demographic they provide services to. It would be best for all. |
It's Mary Cheh's fault. She appointed a Trumper to redraw boundaries, in a heavily Democratic ward no less. Either she knew that at the time or she didn't do her due diligence. |
Ignoring is a pig behavior. Frumin is telling you, 'FUC_ YOU!' At least they didn't send you a text that reads, "FUC_ YOU po AS_ BITC_." And those old lady voucher tenants are not innocent either. |
