Its the way everyone parks in many other countries. |
Big SUVs with wider turning circles often can’t make the right turn into a parking space. |
This! I hate when I have to back out of a parking spot and a car zooms past behind me when I'm already halfway out of my spot. So now I back into my parking spots. |
Yes, it’s safer to back into a spot. It’s also quicker. Yes, it’s quicker when compared to someone backing out into traffic. My question is why do you people keep asking this question? [NP] |
Perhaps they shouldn’t be your in town go to car then? |
Front end parking is not slower. Nor is backing out. I use a visual check and mirrors. The bigger problem is the lack of parking lot etiquette. Instead of following traffic rules it’s often mayhem. |
100% My DH does this. Not all the time. But at events, or in crowded lots. And it’s 100% because he’s a planner who thinks of everything ahead. He’s the one I want to be with when we’re in a jam!!! |
So your whole conclusion is I am right and why on earth is anyone discussing this since I am right. No that is not how it works. |
You keep on saying this over and over and over agsin and it is so stupid--"try it"--we didn't just fall on Earth yesterday and started watching American driving patterns as aliens who have never driven before--we know how to back it, we just don't think it is a good idea. |
But it’s true. When you are backing out of a parking space, you are backing into traffic — which includes drivers and walkers — and neither you nor the traffic can see you. When you are backing into a parking space, there is little to no traffic (with the exception of the a$$hole tailing who pulls up close so you can’t back in — but, they can clearly see you). |
I have backed into spaces many times and what you are saying I'd not true. See how easy that is? Your declarations are not law. Ok, tell me to "try it" again. And then I will tell you I have. So what will you say next, no real driver who knows how to drive agrees with this. Before you do that, look up True Scotsman fallacy in google. |
No, the conclusion is more…. Backing in is safer and easier. You idiots keep asking this question as if the answer goes into and immediately falls out of your empty heads. |
+1 |
Nope it is a judgment call, according to some people, your answer is wrong. No conclusion to be found. You want me to do something so sp bad but I will not be doing it. |
I have rear view cameras and I can park with perfect accuracy when backing in to a spot. This also makes it much safer to pull out when leaving.
The combination of easier parking and improved safety means I will always back into a space. Always. Get over it. |
