I was on my phone and didn’t triple check- sorry. But I think it’s a lot more based on other forums and comment boards. Like literally a lot of people who just assumed it’s TJ going down instead of random metrics skewing the data. |
It could be that the Asians being admitted now are not as high caliber as the ones admitted before. So this group would score worse compared to other Asians, or at least not as well as previous classes did. TJ's USA score would drop here. |
Amazingly, so many people in this forum believe discrimination and war on meritocracy are good for our country. |
The ranking of colleges is specious enough. Ranking of high schools is a whole new level of stupid. Ok, I know it’s not “new” but it is completely useless. |
Ah, right wing media doing bad faith reporting as usual. The causation insinuated in that headline is wild. |
You cannot get free rides all the time. At some point in your life you have to work hard to get ahead. |
That shows how good our school education is. |
It's a public school that serves as the magnet for a whole region. If you don't like that, pay for private. After all, you can't get free rides all the time |
The liberals love to make up stuff to fit their narratives. |
This is a magnet school. If you don't like to work hard, why go there? |
Why are you assuming the kids attending don't like to work hard? Public school students can only take classes and join clubs that their schools offer. |
Sadly, you still don't want to put any effort into anything. |
It's imprecise, but far from completely useless, and the US News methodology is more sensible than something like the current Great Schools methodology. |
Not all the kids attending, especially those who work hard and have all the credentials. The one who doesn't cry for entitlement. Only the lazy kids who just want a quota for them to get in TJ. |
Public school is probably free for you. I pay a lot of tax for the public school. Yes, TAX. Ring a bell? |
