Baltimore has turned apocalyptic. MoCo’s future?

There is a pattern. Democratic rule leads to crime. Republican rule leads to law and order.

Data proves you wrong. Republicans don’t understand basic math so this narrative persists.

Alaska has a higher crime rate than California! Massachusetts is safer than Florida.

NP. I’m not disputing you but how about providing information about Republican run cities instead of states. Are there any? I do think it’s time to try some new ideas in cities.

Maybe ask why voters in cities choose not to elect Republicans.

So much for your support for small-d democracy.

Baltimore and MOCO are finished and DC isn’t far behind. Soon the tax base will disappear. Even democrats will vote Republican in the next election.

If you think that MOCO is living on its past reputation now, just wait until they really get Thrive moving along.

During that whole time, MoCo seems fine. However, as poverty rates increase and gov does nothing to prevent it, crime will get worse everywhere, as it already has been happening.

Well, as to the car theft aspect, Baltimore is one of the cities bringing a lawsuit against the Kia/Hyundai manufacturers for including the steering column USB thing that makes them so easy to steal.

Good, this is absurd.

Fort Worth, Oklahoma City, Fresno, Omaha, Mesa AZ, Tulsa, Virginia Beach and Bakersfield all have Republican mayors. Fresno and Bakersfield are some of the worst places in California for crime.

Brooklyn just had a mass shooting which 30 people were shot, including minors. Where is all,of the progress in Baltimore after they’ve elected such a progressive mayor and council? At this rate, no one in Baltimore will even be able to afford to legally register their cars in the city since car insurance is going to skyrocket to astronomical level due to the astronomical levels of auto theft they do nothing about. Can’t help but to feel this is exactly where MoCo is headed given the people they elect. But it’s really absurd what’s going on in Baltimore right now. Just when you thought the city couldn’t sink lower, it finds new ways to get much worse.

Good.

Cars contribute climate change. Baltimore is better off with zero cars.

Well, on second thought, maybe not that fast…they won’t have cars.
