| Are there any actual statistics on child sexual abuse and how many are perpetrated by religious leaders. I’m beginning to think that on a per capita basis, that they are the most dangerous type of person in the entire country for kids in terms of risk of sexual abuse of a minor. |

I don’t think there are any reliable statistics, no. The Catholic Church hid their sex offenders for decades (probably centuries, if we’re being rational) and even now I don’t even think anyone knows all the sex offenders in that one church alone. Think how many more churches there are and how many interested parties there are willing to lie and hide them instead of getting them into prison where they belong. |
