Try contact the Wootton Cluster supervisor. There is an Office of School Support and
Well-Being and looks like Mrs. Michelle Schultze (Acting) Director of OSSWB's team that included Wootton cluster.

If she is not the supervisor, ask who is the supervisor of the Lakewood ES principal.

Schultze defended her during the meeting today. She straight up said, "Principal Kelly did nothing wrong," referring to the teacher reassignment issue. I do not think they are taking parent concerns seriously.

I had two meeting with the principal and my concerns were not addressed. Granted she is new. But did not even directly answer my questions. I did go over her head and that resolved things.

There are a lot of clicks at this school. Especially among the young female students. It depends on what neighborhood pool you belong to. The principal does not appear to understand that, in my opinion

Parents and teachers across the county should be very concerned. By all accounts, Lakewood WAS a fabulous ES. But the principal appointed was hostile towards the community, and has her own agenda without any ability to reflect on what is best for the students at her school. It sadly isn’t about education anymore.

Same, but I think the current Superintendent is anti-teacher. I have taught for 25 years and have seen nothing like this. Our new principal is also driving out the best teachers and replacing them with ones with zero experience. Easier to “influence” teachers that don’t know anything different.

The Fallsmead principal doesn’t even begin her post until July. But, clearly, you already have an issue with her. The racial undertones are appalling.

Eventually, Wooton will be destroyed and it will get right kind of diversity. Right now it has a wrong kind of diversity.

All in the name of "equity" and "diversity" even though the Wootton cluster is incredibly diverse, just not the kind of diversity they want.

seems like MCPS is trying to bring some diversity to Wootton clusters starting from the top.
