All press is good press, right? And she never really confirmed anything. It'll be a blip she rolls her eyes about months/years down the road when she's on some talk show. She'll say he was another rumor in the long list of rumored men she's dated.

That doesn't mean she wanted a relationship with him- she could have been happy keeping it casual.

At least for me, it's the exact same with Matty Healy. I never heard of him before Taylor Swift started seeing him.

I’ve been a The 1975 fan for a while. They are great and have received a bunch of awards in the UK. Matty Healy comes from a famous family too. They don’t need the help. These two seem to have known each other for a long time and dated a bit ten years ago. It’s not like they just met.

NP and all of that doesn’t change the fact that Matty Healy seems to benefit from this relationship. I’ve never heard of him either and don’t think I’ve heard a song by the 1975. So at least in the US he is now more famous.

The 1975 was on Saturday Night Live, so it's a pretty mainstream group (as defined by me, who is old and listens to old bands)

No one young watches SNL.

And now one song is being played on radio and Hits 1 on Sirius. It’s pretty catchy but before a few weeks ago I had never heard of them.

The weren't played much on pop radio, but they were/are fairly popular on the alternative/indie side.
