We know Ronnie died because of conversation Hal had about/to her about her being young and potential. And she was closest.

There's a lot I liked, but I reallly think they need to tone done her emphatic emphasis on nearly every word in every scene for season 2, was over the top. As was the scene where she is
physically hitting him, not comical.

Also I resent my subliminal need to now shop for satin/silk blouses.

This is my guess too.

Just think of the sweaty pits.

And they don't stay tucked in.

I’ll continue watching. While I like the Kate & Hal characters and get the stay/go dynamic — this stay/go can’t be stretched out much more without being ridiculous. They need Hal to fix/mess everything up. But he can’t perform with anyone but Kate? That’s quire a corner they’ve painted themselves into.

I assumed that in between she went to hair and makeup for the photo shoot.

They called her the ambassador designate.

Funny, I have not noticed the "fast talking."

Probably because I do it myself (from NY originally!).

When she takes her shirt off, she is SO thin, do men really find that look to be sexy?

Hillary Clinton (a cabinet member ) always wore pants suits. I think they are as formal as a dress...if we are being modern.

I think that a lot of dysfunctional couples, especially who have been together for years and have jobs that overlap, could act inconsistently like this. She is dependent on him but loathes him in some ways.

You can be serious and still wash your hair and not fall apart when you need to put on a show in order to do your job.

As someone who works in Washington, I just don’t find this character believable. Even the most serious women wear lipstick.

Separately, I can’t help but feel like The Night Agent had better casting than this for the supporting characters. Rufus and Keri are terrific, but everyone else seems less interesting than their counterparts in shows like The Night Agent, The Recruit, etc. Weird.

This. I tried washing Ep 1 last night but was so distracted by how disheveled she looked. TBH, she looked like a drug addict. I get that she's supposed to be anti-glam but I highly doubt IRL she would look that terrible. The character is too off-putting for me.

An ambassador lying in public on a marble step in her slip?? That was ridiculous.

So far, I am enjoying it as well.

Refreshing to see a strong, direct woman who rejects the dated role she is expected to step into.
