Broadcasting / journalism—Syracuse
International work - Hopkins (even though they graduated a Russian spy recently)
Medicine - Rochester, Hopkins, Pitt
Business - UMD, Babson, Harvard, Stanford
Environmental - Allegheny, Juniata, Brown, Rutgers
Acting - Yale
Communications - Emerson
Public affairs - Syracuse, CMU
Marine biology - Eckerd and maybe URI

I would add Georgetown's School of Foreign Service to this list.

They seem pretty clueless and pro-Syracuse . U Penn should be on Business.

I wish! My kid was rejected from Syracuse despite a 3.9/4.4. Because I am a grown up, I can recognize Syracuse is tippy top for broadcasting even if they hurt me with their rejection.

I’ll add:

Architecture—Syracuse, Cornell, Cooper Union

For Architecture I'd first think VT and Cal Poly

I live in a very expensive neighborhood and most of the architects are VT architect grads.

That's it on this board. And only if they were triple hooked from a big 3 (URM, Legacy, and Recruited Athlete)

I think you have NorthWESTERN confused with Northeastern.

+2.

I've hired a lot. And the school just doesn't matter. Harvard grads have been great. So have no name Big Midwest Colleges that no one on her values. 1) do they have the requisite degree/education and 2) what was their GPA/accolades. That gets you through the door. From their it's your experience, how you interview, and other intagibles.

The only people who care are the Big Corporate Entities and Firms. And the people who have to tell you where they went, within the first 5 min. of meeting them.

The most impressive person I know went to MIT. Another one from Williams.
My opinion is influenced by whether they were legacy or not. Every legacy I know this cycle got in. Half are not impressive and would have never been admitted on their own merit.
One DC had gone to boarding school because his parents could not deal with his bad behavior and issues. His mom had a nervous breakdown because of him back in the day. A solid B student, going to Top 20 school because of legacy.
This country is not a meritocracy. It is more like the royal family in England - the torch is passed down, whether there is merit or not.
