That's correct. Langley had a 6 goal run in the first quarter and the game was basically over. But Patriot chipped back each quarter and made the final score respectable. |

| McLean needs to get its defense sorted out. Right now games are can their offence outscore the points that their defense is giving up |

| Lake Braddock could have scored a lot more. 16-3 at half and they sat some of the better guys for a good part of the 4th. |

What's the point of running up the score? Some teams cap it at 19 or 20 if it's a blowout. |

If the starters are still in and running up the score, that would be bush league. But if a team clears its bench and the back-ups are still running it up, there is not much you can do. Some kids get very limited game time, so it's hard to tell them they need to burn clock and not shoot when they finally do get into a game. and don't forget that once a game is out of reach, the losing team probably clears their own bench, which makes it even harder for the winning team to keep the score down. |

| Disagree. Robo last year in most of its games could have gone way past 20. They didn’t. They kept it at 19. Non-starters played in second half and were told to work on skills and plays, but no scoring. They were better players for it. |

7 was on the field until the end of the game and got an assist late to get to 23. At what cost? Give the bench some minutes. Can’t risk losing a kid that good for no reason |
