Do you even listen to podcasts? His is advertised quite frequently on other podcasts. |
Moments like these are how you know these people have a singular obsession with Meghan. Dad Shepard’s podcast is one of the most visible podcasts out there, with tons of cross-promotion and marketing. |
'What didn't you do to bury me?': Duchess of Sussex signs off final podcast with pointed quote Cough cough 😂 |
Oh holy lord. see??? Exhibit A!!! |
Dax Shepard has a successful podcast that he and his partner built and grew organically. Dax Shepard does not have billboards, magazine covers, paid promo in major publications and channels. People who don’t listen to podcast (that’s the majority of the world) have no clue who Dax Shepard is. Meghan on the other hand is the most saturated public figure out there. By choice. |
Yeah yeah exhibit A. This numbskull has given dozens of interviews, published books, filmed a reality tv series of her life, has a podcast series in the biggest platform, has a production deal with the largest streaming service in the world, has an army of PR people spamming the publishing world and she is STILL talking about someone trying to bury her. Insufferable! |
| Spotify marketed the shit out of Megan’s podcast so of course someone is going to say it was a success. Honestly I listened to a brief part of one and instead of hearing Venus talk I heard way, way too much of megan talking about herself. That’s some hubris… assuming we care more about the host than the truly amazing once in a generation athlete that the podcast supppsedly featured. |
Oops typo - meant Serena. |
That woman is the Head of Content for Spotify. Basically the person in charge of sinking hundreds of millions in deals with celebrities like Meghan. Now if you ask Spotify’s CFO, he might have a different answer. A company with 190 million paid subscribers that is still not turning a profit and whose stock has lost 60% of its value this year. |
This is really just absurd. Dax and Kristin Bell are prolific oversharers. They are regularly featured in major publications and Dax and Kristin have both regularly been on billboards and on the screen. What is your definition of paid promo because they literally have commercialized their family for actual commercials. It is the same thing. Possibly more embarrassing with them telling the world that their daughter was in pull-ups into elementary school. If you don’t like that in general then that’s fine but the obsession that you have with showing that the Sussexes are somehow uniquely horrible amongst celebs or even Harry’s own family is just bizarre. |
DP. So basically her success is fake because of her podcast ranking or other random reason AND she’s too successful to complain about someone trying to bury her? |
Dude, I just showed up here. I don't know if they are horrible. I don't know them. I just think it is funny that this globally known person is less of a draw than that guy from - I don't even know what he's from - that guy married to Kristin Bell and barely more of a draw that white noise. That's pretty funny. I imagine the meeting at Spotify going like this "The bad news is that you are less successful than Veronica Mars' husband BUT more popular than gentle rain." 😂 |
Right. Because they have no particular talents, this is their only source of revenue. They are expected to produce dirt in exchange and have obliged, but the majority of criticisms come across as very petty. I personally am anti-monarchy but I don't admire these two pampered and entitled creatures one bit. |
The Prince and Princess of Wales will be in Boston at the John F. Kennedy Library with John Schlossberg, Caroline Kennedy's son, to award Prince Williams' Earthshot Prize to people working in environmental concerns. Harry and Meghan Windsor-Mountbatten will be in New York to receive an award from Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights for uncovering systemic racism in the British Royal Family. The head of the center is the problem-plagued Kerry Kennedy, ex-wife of the problem-plagued Andrew Cuomo. The emcee for the event will be the problem-plagued Alec Baldwin. One son will be awarding a prize for actual achievements; another son will be receiving a prize for gossip. The "antics" of the British press have been quite well revealed throughout all season of The Crown, particularly the current season If you want to understand the British press, watch Jo Elvin's "Palace Confidential" or Lacy Colin Campbell's You Tube Channel. Your rose colored glasses may pop off when you realize the antics are not from the press but from Me-gain and The Spare. |
It ranked #77 last week. It was behind a two hour podcast of lullabies. |
