Well, let's see, under Cheh, every Ward 3 school and library had a renovation, all but one community center had a renovation, we have a new outdoor pool, a bunch of Main Street organizations, all sorts of international leading environmental measures and a progressive DDOT. Cheh was also on the cutting edge of HPV shots for teens and pre-teens.

If Frumin is anything close to Cheh, I would say bravo!

Is it iideological to want shiny schools to attract and retain students in the neighborhood to attend?
Is it ideological to want and get an outdoor poll in the ward?
Is it ideological to ensure kids are vaccinated?

On the Foxhall schools, she admirably took a position, stood up for it, and called out those opponents trying to deceive others. But I can think of a number of other local issues where she tried to be all things to all people and was not helpful to anybody.

The ward 3 schools were renovated and expanded to better accommodate the OOB students who otherwise would not have been able to attend. I take it you don't know these schools very well.

Nope. Those schools were all renovated first. That's how long it took. The ward 3 schools were ther very last ones to be renovated and the whole process has taken over a decade. Im fact it was Ward 3 parents that brought the initial suit that forced DC to renovate all the schools. They waited patiently at the end of the line until it was their turn.

Most of the kids who attend Ward 3 schools don't live in Ward 3.

Full disclosure: I'm going with Frumin, but the chaos monkey inside me wants to vote for the libertarian who is running opposed to something that doesn't exist. I don't respect the libertarian enough to look his name up, but I do love his campaign that presupposes a reality that doesn't exist.

I voted for the Libertarian. I am an Independent that DC keeps registering as a Democrat. Yes, I am a unicorn that frustrates many because I don’t vote party lines, I vote candidates, their backgrounds, track record and overall position across the issues that matter to most voters.

No one is “frustrated” by you. You chose to waste your vote on someone who has no chance of winning and threw it away on a tantrum. We roll our eyes at people like you. And no, your nonvotes have nowhere near the numbers to sway an election, so save that predictable retort.
