What POS parents. Can you imagine putting your 6 yo in that situation?

The parents stuck around though, so they knew the kid would be sent home. I imagine they needed their child to be denied access to school/free public education, in order to file a lawsuit. I personally would never do something like this, but I'm sure the kid will be fine. They are probably taking them out to a pancake breakfast to celebrate the day off.

You are still a horrible parent if you use your kid as a pawn like that. Fight the battle if you want but leave your poor kid out of it.

One of the outspoken APE bro dads basically likened his kid to Rosa Parks and referred to the school board as George Wallace. Disgusting. There are definitely POS parents out there.

He's really something, not representative of APS parents in my experience luckily. I think they are emboldened by being in a group (there are 5-6 like him in APE) but I wonder if they have any teeth in real life.

He has been kicked out of APE.

It doesn’t look like it. He still shows as a group member.

DP. If you click on his name he is identified as a “former member.” One of the mods posted two hours ago that he was removed from the group over the Rosa Parks comments.

Your kid would not be impacted if he wears a mask.

You know this is going to be a sh!tshow at some schools with some parents. I feel for the people manning the doors!

Teachers are supposed to send any who refuse to keep a mask on to the principal's office just as they are supposed to do now.

This seems like a great approach. It’s ironic that parents who were screaming to get kids back to school would take actions that would prevent their own child from being in school, and cause administrative disruptions that will prevent other children from learning.

Because it was never about masks. It was Do What I Say.

Kind of like anti abortion laws?

False equivalence. Just as false as your moral highness. You can abort if you want. Nobody is FORCING you. Meanwhile, with the fear-mongering and irrational schizophrenic paranoids around they are FORCING children who have Statistically near zero chance of dying or hospitalization to wear a face diaper all day consuming waste oxygen and carbon dioxide the body expels for a reason. All in the name of science and safety. You really have to laugh.

Sure. Two years ago you were the only one in the world who knew everything about COVID. Science has just been playing catch up to your immense intellect. Forgive us mere mortals who have to learn as the world changes.

Please don't respond to that crazy "mRNA experimental jab" poster. They randomly come on all of these threads to post the same nonsense.

There are so many of them in that group, but this one isn't W. The one who is so bad that he got booted from APE is a Real Loser.

Sweden has decided against recommending COVID-19 vaccines for kids aged 5 to 11. The benefits DO NOT outweigh the risks, the Health Agency argued.

In the US, more than a quarter (28.1%) or over 8 million of 5-11 year-olds had received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose as of January 18, 2022.

I really can't take anyone seriously who pines for "normal" as if there is nothing about the last two years to learn from. Personally I'm still trying to figure out what those lessons are, but one lesson is there are some people who are so afraid of change they stick their heads in the sand and pretend the world hasn't changed at all.
