I asked for a subscription to The Atlantic for my birthday. That was a mistake. I can't tell you how much I am not interested in reading about a bunch of anonymous Republicans fantasizing about a thing that isn't going to happen just like it hasn't happened for the last 6.5 years.

Tim Scott was cooperating with Cory Booker putting together a policing reform bill when hardly any other Republicans would touch the issue. This bill went nowhere, but that’s the only thing I’ve seen that differentiates him from the rest.

I guess being reasonably low key is a plus here, at least as far as luring normie moderates like me into thinking that him winning wouldn't be the end of the world! I also guess the fact I don't have a visceral hatred and fear of him means he'd never win the primary.
