I don’t really care for most offal but that isn’t something I’m served frequently.

For those who dislike the taste of jarred mayo (not that I think anyone should eat it since it's not exactly healthy or anything) you guys should try Japanese mayo called kewpie if you need to use it in a recipe. It tastes really different for some reason.

It’s made only with yolk and has msg in it

Japanese Mayo also has sugar in it I think.

My answer is cooked salmon. I just dislike the taste.

okra

okra, mayo, ranch dressing, calamari

I noticed this, too. Both the free-range and the conventional. Dark, breast, combined, etc. Most, but not all of the time, it tastes gross to me.

Some of my favorite foods appear frequently on this list! I LOVE beets, sweet potatoes and olives!
I pretty much like to eat anything except... liver. I can't do it. Blech.

People who have texture issues with their food seem so infantile to me.

Bananas. That's really my only food.

Lima beans and peas (uncooked or cooked). I will pick peas out of everything if the dish cannot be made without them (looking at you Fried Rice!!) Just the smell of peas causes me to gag.

How do you feel about pickled stuff? Because this is exactly my brother in law’s list. Also no dill.

I’m the PP and I adore anything pickled and have no issues with dill. Will even drink pickle juice…so weird LOL

Sometimes I wish I was picky. Must be nice to look at food and think “gross” instead of “sure, that turkey heart/chicken foot/eel/sea urchin looks great, I want to eat it!”

Lima beans. I eat all other beans, these just have a texture I don't like

NP. I hate turkey in general. It creeps me out. I don’t even eat it on Thanksgiving.

They taste like blood and dirt, right? I love them but you are like my dad. He’s not a picky eater at all ( he grew up poor) but this is how he feels about beets (and liver). It must be minerals that you can taste!

I think we all taste the minerals it’s just a matter of whether you like the mineral taste. I suspect people who are low iron like beets more than others.

Interesting. I love beets, but I'm a pretty big meat eater. Just ate a big bloody steak yesterday.

That is interesting!
I love beets too, especially Harvard and pickled. I am often anemic.

Not anemic at all, and I love beets boiled, pickled, borscht. I did try then grated raw for salad but did not care for that.

In general I really like root vegetables.

I'm not anemic at all and I like beets.

lima beans, liver, anything with fennel in it.

My two major food aversions came from pregnancy -- I am not wild about most mushy squash, and I can only eat dates if they're heavily masked (like in sticky toffee pudding). Both were aversions I developed while pregnant, and both lasted.
