| Sales during this year's holiday season grew at the fastest pace in 17 years, and increased by 8.5% from last year. |
And up 11% from 2019. Another HUGE sign that the economy is in full boom mode. |

Do you know what we haven't heard of seen this Christmas season?
Empty shelves or "hot" gifts that were not available. Economy up, supply chain issues mitigates, gas prices decreasing. |
Great point. I was hearing so many claims before thanksgiving that there would be empty shelves everywhere for Christmas. Didn’t happen. |
Gas price is decreasing because Omicron is slowing the recovery. Same reason why supply chains are less stressed. Wait till February/ March. |
Having read a lot of the entries at the Herman Cain Awards, I’ve read a lot of right wing memes on variations of a theme about how Democrats are inventing variants to control people. Your argument sounds like a cousin to those memes. |
At the moment, there is no suggestion that things are going to shut down the way they did under Trump. Biden has made vaccination ubiquitous meaning people can safely go about their lives with minimal chance of hospitalization, assuming they have the three shots and likely 4 by late spring. Ergo, no, the economy is not going to be paused like it was in 2020. |
Sounds a lot like "Just wait til February/March when JFK Jr. returns, the Kraken is released, all of the Democrats are rounded up and arrested and Donald Trump is restored to his rightful place on the throne." |

Looks like Biden’s economy is firing on all cylinders, despite the wreck he inherited from the last administration.

I thought Dems cared about low SES people, not highly-paid lawyers and Wall Street folks? |
The Wall Street Journal which cares about “highly-paid lawyers and Wall Street folks” published the article. |
We want everyone in society to benefit, not just the 1%. |
That's exactly what biden is trying to do with BBB. Thanks Joe Manchin. |
