Seem very feminine both of them. It’s ok if that’s your thing

Both are uncommon enough around here that you won't find them on a keychain, but they aren't unheard of names. We don't have any male or female Rowans' at his preschool...and my Julian never met another Julian in his school. Julian turned out to be very academic and cerebral, whereas my Rowan is currently a free spirited little guy. Their names suit them. My name is Ashley and I've actually met a few very masculine men that wear the name proudly. All three names are traditionally male, Rowan and Julian more common in Great Britain.

Thank you.

I know two boys named Julian. Very different from each other but both great kids. I like the name. Depending on middle name, could up up using first and middle initials and call him J.J. or something.

Not such a fan of Rowan for boy or girl.

I wouldn't chose them but i REALLY like them both. A lot. To the point that it's hard to decide. I personally don't know any Rowans but if so may people on here are saying it's everywhere, maybe go with Julian? But both are great.
