And she's certainly "GOP enough" to be a Trumphumper:

Note: This was **before** the TJ hysteria.

It's a very strong signal that one of the FCDC trolls or sympathizers is falling back on their usual bag of insults to defend anything, no matter how stupid or vile, that's been done or tolerated by the current, all-Democratic School Board.

It's a sign of someone who recognizes that the GOP is actively astroturfing right here in the DC area. Someone who will call it out each and every time.

I'm not a defender of the SB; I just hate lying conservatives trying to manipulate their way into local issues.

You are a defender of the SB, and you ascribe the same motivation to every criticism of FCPS or the SB.

If there's any one-trick pony, it's you.

When have I *ever* defended the SB?

Nomani certainly has taken more courageous positions when it came to the misogyny displayed by some Muslim leaders than Abrar Omeish ever has.

And I doubt her statements throughout this Post piece ("I support the Democratic Party’s position on abortion, same-sex marriage and climate change" and "I reject Trump’s 'locker room' banter, the idea of a 'wall' between the United States and Mexico and a plan to 'ban' Muslims") align with the views of most Trump supporters.

She thinks independently and expresses herself vocally, and that's anathema to people who expect near-blind allegiance to the other party's views.

But in any event you're just trying to distract people from Karl Frisch's full-throated defense of rather salacious porn in secondary and high school reading materials by posting about Asra Nomani instead.

She is pushing this topic. Why is that? Don’t you want to know who is amplifying these “issues” and why?

Kids experimenting with sex isn’t “porn”.

^ Asra is trying to scare up some votes for Youngkin with these manufactured “issues”.

And then perhaps a job at Newsmax?

Giving them books with very explicit pictures of sexual acts being performed by young people is. Giving them books that talk about a ten year old performing graphic sexual acts on an adult and vice versa is pedophilia. Last I heard, pedophilia is illegal.

Maybe she is pushing the topic because she knows it needs to be pushed. She is just reporting what happened at the meeting and providing the evidence. You have problems with that? If it is so harmless why does it bother you?

It was not on an adult. Did you read the full passage?

She's pushing falsehoods. Why are you OK with that?

I think you better go read it.

I can't imagine a debate over whether the gay porn in the FCPS school libraries just involves underage children or also involves pedophilia warrants too much parsing, when for example FCPS recently disclosed that almost 40% of its high/secondary schools did not have any National Merit Semifinalists this fall. Perhaps FCPS should consider whether its library selections should be culled in favor of material that does more to promote academic achievement and less to "normalize" sex involving minors.

Does Board not understand that high school kids are minors?

It met my description of porn. Very graphic description of male sex acts and included pedophilia, as well.

I would not have read it out loud, but it sure got the attention. Board called a five minute recess.

OMG shut up.

Seriously stop censoring.

Your kids will fail in life you stink as a parent and a human.

What exactly is wrong with children experimenting with sex?

Or a character remembering it from his youth?

Explicit text like that doesn't belong in a school library. It's inappropriate.

“’He talked about old times at the church, but never mentioned our penises or the fact that he never said ten words to me after our little foray in the bushes. Not a single reference to holding or tugging or sucking d**ks. All I could think about while he was chatting me up was his little salamander between my fourth-grade fingers, rapidly engorging with blood”
