One of my very smart friends LOVES her. Has done the me courses or whatever the F they are called. I don't get it, but we all have our guilty pleasures I guess. |
yep, I guess this thread is mine 🤷♀️😊 |

Honestly, I am rooting for Jen. I WANT her to find her place. I want to like her again. I went and saw her years ago and met her. |
I thnik she should find her place out of the public eye, being an ordinary non-celebrity. |
| Agreed. I'm rooting for her, too, and I just feel like she's settling- the shilling, Tyler, the constant trips and running away from whatever she can't deal with, etc. I'd love to see her meet a decent guy (who also has a legit job and doesn't sponge off of her and actually acknowledges her publicly and often as someone he loves), find a job with purpose, and find peace. But I don't think it's possible to find true peace outside of faith in Jesus and if she's walking away from faith, then it's only going to get worse. |
|
Also rooting for Jen. I'd love to see her prosper in a way that makes her happy - I refuse to believe shilling vitamins and lube is doing that for her and it seems like a very stressful, almost hand-to-mouth existence, waiting for the next brand deal or hoping the next book won't flop.
I would like to see her step back into her faith, too, although that is a very personal thing. I miss 2018 Jen and even though I'm no Brando fan, I think she would have been happier if they'd have found a way to salvage their 20+ year marriage. I think she is still reeling from that and settling for far less than what she wants. |
Please. Jen and Tyler are both so delusionally full of themselves that they lack the way to poke fun at their actions and lives in any way, much less a cutting way like Jane does. Jane is ruthless and clever. Jen is a passable writer but she doesn't have that edge to her writing voice. Tyler is mediocre at best and I also get the impression he's a little bit lazy. I don't see him as clever enough to write the Capsticher tales OR motivated to entertain an audience anonymously with little benefit to himself. I mean...come on. You don't read Jane Capsticher's version of the Tyler Merrit Project and want to run out and buy his books. It is someone else. Darned if I know who but I hope they don't stop. |
| Whoever is writing the Jane Catstitcher Chronicles is a very funny, very witty, super sharp person. This is next level satire. Neither Jen or Tyler have that sort of firepower or that sort of voice. Plus as mentioned above they could never satirize themselves like this. They are way too self-absorbed and brittle emotionally. |
Bingo. I became a Jen fan when she was just writing Bible studies and inspirational books, and having manageable speaking tours. But now she is that friend that always invites you to parties but only the MLM ones and not the supper clubs. |
I’m gonna call BS on this. Both of them have and continue to make it in the entertainment/influencer field (books, acting, speaking, “shilling”) even if their stars are fading. Whereas Catsticher person is writing a satirical hit piece 12 people read. And one of us is over the moon about it. It’s okay. Not great. My guess is catsticher has a failed self published book and an axe to grind. Either personally or professionally. How’s that Catstitcher? Pretty close? |
| Mwahaha. Looks like someone close to the “situation” has weighed in. |
Right? |
(Stirs pot) Maybe Capstitcher is Tina... |
| If y’all bully Jane Capstitcher off this thread, I will throw a monopoly board across the room while cackling like a maniac!!!! |
