I feel this way too; it's exhausting to think about. Her IG post is straight from the descriptions of Glennon Doyle's last two books. The reason why GD's name appears on this thread is that there is indistinguishable overlap, especially right now with this memoir. Though Tyler ain't no Abby. 🙂

Truth! I would like Jen so much more if she had an Abby. At least Glennon is focused.

Not sure I can stand an entire year of “pre-order my book” BS.

I have never felt more harassed as when I was on Brandon's "A Mile Wide" prelaunch team. I totally think Jen ghostwrote that book. It was so mediocre but could have been a great story of faith and charity.

What kind of pre-order goodies will Jen promote? My money is on a coffee mug and a silly T shirt. Maybe a decal. Or a boat oar.

There's no way that Tyler is Jane. His writing style is much too narcissistic to be the witty voice of Jane. If he was writing her, we'd be hearing a LOT more about how "dope" Trevor is.

Why can't Jen just stay out of politics? Why on earth would you choose to alienate a chunk of your fan base when you're struggling to hold on to as many fans as you can? I agree that the bulk of her base is probably liberal, but it would seem that the cost of fans lost would be much greater than the connection of fans who identify with her views. NOTHING she says or writes is going to change who anyone is voting for.

Correct - nothing Jen says or writes changes my political views at all. I dont care for most of her views but oh the irony of MS DEECONSTRUCTION now talking about being a person of faith and Trump offends that, and then with the immaturity of a teenager - “comments off” - because she cant handle it. I have similar thoughts but then I see the post has 23k likes including from several people I know. I don’t get it but she still seems to have some sort of following.

I truly don’t get it. But for whatever reason there is a somewhat large contingent of people apparently not hate-following her posts. I’m sure this gives her the needed assurance to keep going.
