So much liberal anger here.

Your team has suffered a crushing defeat. Deal with it without acting like a baby.

Says the person who voted an angry raving toddler into the Oval Office. Sorry you can’t claim
the high ground when Trump is your leader.

Yes. We’re angry. You were angry for 8 years, right?

+1 and LOL at the Trumpster PP. They don't know anything except hate and anger.

As long as you have great connections and come from a privileged background, you too can claim that decades of “good” behavior erase the times you acted like a prick and ruined someone else’s life, and maybe you can get a prestigious life long judgeship too!

Sadly some things just never change, do they?

Does Collins have a credible challenger? And what does Manchin's vote do for his political fortunes back home?

Wow, Collins. That was very disappointing.

Crushing defeat? You gave a Supreme Court appointment to a guy who might be a rapist, because to do otherwise would be unfair to him. If you think it's a win, then heaven help you.

Oh, please. You absolutely know that is not true.

I was bothered by all the snarky, mean, immature posts earlier. Took a break. I figured maybe thinking adults had returned to this thread after the work day.
I see I was wrong.

I just pledged $50 to her future opponent, assuming she runs again. It was cathartic. The total is currently above $2.2 mil, aiming for $4 mil.

Check out Don the Con Jr.'s Twitter feed.

Insulting Manchin for voting yes. He is truly and imbecile.

I hope Manchin and a few others change their minds before tomorrow.

Makes me sick.

What about a women accused? Should we drag her off too?

Haha. Keep wasting your $$$$. Collins is not going anywhere and she knows it. Apparently you don't.

Trump couldn’t find a better candidate?! Yuck! Kavanaugh is an embarrassment. Do you think he’s chugging beers with his bros tonight? Reminiscing about gang rapes?!

Murkowski explained it very well -

"And so I have been wrestling with whether or not this was about qualifications of a good man or is this bigger than the nomination."

She goes on to explain that she thinks this is bigger than the nomination of one person, because of the message sent out to the world if he is confirmed, regarding sexual assault, I suppose.
I think a lot of ordinary people struggled with those concepts.

However I believe politicians excuse their votes with such cogent and rational reasons, but really only act in their own best interests, or those of their party. No morals or integrity whatsoever.
