Read how one of Leland's high school friends tried to guilt Leland into changing her testimony by bringing up the tragic death of her high school boyfriend in a diving accident.

Shameless.

(a) Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of
the United States shall disqualify himself in any

(1) Where he has a personal bias or prejudice

"What goes around comes around" indeed.

But there is no law requiring that he recuse himself from any case before the Supreme Court. Recusal is voluntary.

Do you think Brett will recuse himself when the ACLU brings a case before the Supreme Court? He'll be licking his chops at his chance to get back at those "liberals" who funded the conspiracy against him.

Be very afraid, Democrats.

That fact that a person can write this about someone who is being consider for the Supreme Court is exactly why he cannot be given the appointment. I don't get why people don't seem to understand how vital this is to the legitimacy of the Supreme Court.

Where and when has he shown a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party? Can you provide one quote to support? A terse response to a Dems question is not a bias.

Setting aside that whole mess; there is still no doubt that Kavanaugh lies. He’s a lying political hack. Trump and the GOP are the biggest lying assholes.

This is why they wanted to rush the vote this weekend.

Interesting
So, there might be actual evidence of K perjury?

Possible. But if the Senate, White House and other leaders of our Republic aren't interested, then...?

Don't know. We'll see if there is anything useful for a long game.
Leaders of the republic are elected regularly, sooner or later someone would be interested in taking K out.

Well, not really but maybe it explains all the trash talking he did about the fairer sex back then. Big talker. Lot of lies, then and now.

Put your money where your mouth is, if you want to regain credibility. Start with the DNC and Ellison.

My mouth and my money are in the same place. I'm independent, for the life of me won't register with D nor R. They both equally disgusting.
But still - if K perjured himself - he shouldn't be SC Justice

Here is that open letter to Leland from Sara Corcoran published in the Daily Caller. I did not hear about this until today:

Talk about pressure.

So much liberal anger here.

Your team has suffered a crushing defeat. Deal with it without acting like a baby.

Yes. We’re angry. You were angry for 8 years, right?

As an independent, I'm not focused on winning or defeat. I'm focused on the Supreme Court.

You do you.

Message loud and clear to boys across the nation: go ahead and act like a drunken animal house lout through your teenage years and in to your early twenties, treating girls and women like trash. As long as you have great connections and come from a privileged background, you too can claim that decades of “good” behavior erase the times you acted like a prick and ruined someone else’s life, and maybe you can get a prestigious life long judgeship too!
