Teen Mom OG

Annoying how the production crew indulges Amber and pretends like her pregnancy is the greatest thing that ever happened. Also, Maci insisting on talking about the miscarriage when Taylor clearly didn't want to was awful. Was she drunk??

She wanted to bring it up because maybe she feels better talking about it. She didn’t push him though. When he wasn’t interested, they dropped it. We have no details other than that it happened so i really don’t think she was that insistent

-Catelynn and Tyler are on too much adderall
-Amber's boyfriend wears a fake beard. He also played Maci and Taylor's limo driver in this episode
-Amber is having a manic episode
-Someone scratched Michael's arm
-Farrah has turned her family into a circus sideshow. He boobs looked good at the restaurant
-Maci and Taylor are drunks. They talked about adoption like talking about getting a pet.
-Sophia...

Completely agree!

So apparently Cate had a miscarriage that sent her over the deep end—and into “rehab”. This may sound cold, but I think the absolute last thing those two needed was another baby.

Why is it so hard to understand amber's mother?

Why did farrah tell Sophia that she (Sophia) knows how to pick a man unlike other people?

Was she drunk? That’s her MO.

100% agree. Cate needs to be on permanent birth control for a looooooooong time.

If it's permanent, she only needs it once

I think Tyler stays with Cate out of guilt. I wonder if she tells him she will kill herself if he leaves? She is just such a burden, doesn’t seem like a happy wife, is failing at mothering, and just can’t get it together. He always seems short or sarcastic with her, but claims he loves her endlessly. And be very well may. He will always love her, but is he truly “in love”? What can he possibly see in her? All they have, it seems, is that they are all the other one knows. I wonder if he feels completely trapped?

Does Amber's boyfriend understand that he's having a baby with a woman who refuses to be around her own children when she is upset?. And that she is usually upset? God, they're dumb.

I wonder what he does for her. He talks endlessly about himself and his projects, and he's not any more involved as a parent than she is, so it seems. At least he has some goals, I guess, but Cate's not really a part of them. They do really seem like roommates. They've been together since they were 12 and their relationship hasn't evolved. It (sort of) reminds me of a good friend who married a man she had been dating since 9th or 10th grade. They seemed to have a good relationship, but in college, there was a lot of drama that seemed very immature. They got divorced after about 5 years of marriage and have both remarried to very nice people. Our circle of friends is still together and it's clear that they both needed to be in grown-up relationships, which they weren't in when they were together. Tyler and Cate need to either mature their relationship, or move to to amicably find other partners that share the same interests. Like, sitting on a couch, or pretending to ride horses.

While they were on the beach, he said something to the effect of "Even if we don't work out, I'll always remember this time here with you" and she insisted that she could never hate him. On one hand, ok cool that you're acknowledging that this relationship is brand new and might not work, but wouldn't the better message be "Even if we don't work out, I'm going to be 100% in my role as a father." He's already easing out the door...

Well he's from Malibu or something. He's not going to want to live in the middle of Nowhere, Indiana. Amber flat out said she'd have left Indiana ages ago if it weren't for Leah being there.

Can we talk about Gary telling Leah she had her chance to be the favorite but the window has closed and she's not the favorite anymore? Kristina is Leah's best parent.

Come on, you didn’t see that as a dad joke? Sounds like something my dad would say when I complained “it’s not fair!” I think it shows that Leah and Gary have a strong enough bond that they can yank each other’s chain and she still trusts him. He’s earned the right to joke like that with her; Amber hasn’t.
